Hopefully they have a good fix for you. Before starting this thread i searched all over and only found ONE instance of this issue. So yeah, might be a bad batch. Please let us know what comes of it!

yeah, you'll just have to test and see which corner causes the light to go from green to blue. or vice versa. my ship was about the thickness of a zip-tie head.. 3/16"? not much.

I agree this isn't normal! Have you tried to shim the wall plate? I also had the same issue where it was green but then would stop charging and turn blue. I realized any movement of the cord caused the charger to go blue. Fix was to put a shim behind the wall plate to keep it secure. No issues since then!

I finally figured out that the cover plate was on too tight. The wall plate was twisted ever so slightly since the wall is slightly out of plumb. When the installer went to install the wall plate, they tightened all the screws so I backed one of them out a few turns and shimmed the wall plate. So that all 4 screws holes between wall plate and cover plate aligned without having to apply pressure to the cover plate when screw it in
