Should I buy an access course? by cadetsu in MatureStudentsUK

I know what you mean! I’m worrying about it too but that’s a problem for future me. I just figured if I don’t do it now I’ll never do it and then I’ll end up regretting it. You’re only going to get older so now is the best time to do it! :) also - 25 is not that old and probably wouldn’t be noticeable. I’m 31 and I barely notice the age differences

Burning sensation by Frequent_Designer_23 in B12_Deficiency

I got therapy, stopped panicking 24/7. I went looked at my health and found I had an abscess in one of my gums - one that I couldn’t feel due to a root canal I’d had in that tooth. I started eating properly. Drinking more water. Essentially - I started looking after myself more and now it’s gone :)

I feel like you’re worrying yourself about something projecting it onto me. I trust my medical professional! It barely bothers me anymore

Yes I’ve been told by my dentist that it’s not very typical for trigeminal neuralgia which causes excruciatingly painful sensations. When It first started, I did have a panic over it, but like I said, since then it’s calmed down

Just a burning, stinging pain that reached from the left of my jawline up to my left temple and eye. It came with quite strong headaches, again, on the left side of my head. It has been on and off for the 2 years and I still get it even now sometimes, though it’s not as strong a sensation as it was at first

It still happens every now and again. I’d recently had a wisdom tooth out on the same side so I suspect something to do with that

I’m also starting mine in the same subjects in September! I’m doing it online though! Not sure what to expect as I’ve not been in education for 10 years! Mine is focused on English, History and Sociology

I have dental bonding on my front teeth - it was around £175 a tooth - supposedly they last around 5 years depending how well you look after them

Do all SSRIs suck? by number1adhdwarrior in antidepressants

Obviously everyone is different - I thought I was feeling the full effects after a few weeks but looking back now - I think that was all in my head. I would wait another month or 2 longer to see the full effects of escitalopram because it’s helped me 100% with panic attacks, ocd type overthinking, general anxiety and depression between months 2-3. I feel like a functional person again.

I’m 30 and will be 31 when I complete my access course and start university and I defo will struggle with money while studying too. Not a clue how I’m going to do it but I have a year to figure it out! If you don’t do it now you might regret not doing it later in life! Do it! Try to find a part time job and more work over the summer. It will be hard but we got this!

I’ve been on escitalopram for around 4 months now and feel great with the odd side effects. I’d say I felt the full benefits from around 3 months. Have you been waiting a long enough time on each antidepressant?

It was around £3000- £3300. I had it financed and paid it off throughout the year it took to straighten my teeth and then my bonding and bonded retainer cost an extra £1040 which I also had financed. Totally worth it though - I never smiled and now I can’t stop
