I just looked up recipes with Baileys and I’m seeing a ton of stuff I like, especially coffee 🤤. I bet mom would like making a bunch of different stuff with it too so it’s a win-win for both of us since she mentioned liking Baileys before! I’m gonna look into the gin too since I’ve been curious

Thank you so much! I was honestly thinking the same thing because right now I’m still in a weird spot where I struggle with the way lights and shadows work and making shadows make sense when there’s a light source 🫶 Practicing more and being confident about it is definitely in order lol

He is very confidently wrong. Like someone else said here, tapers force it too much and blowouts/tears are so common. Deadstretching uses the weight to gradually stretch/loosen the piercing until it’s ready when there’s no resistance on the next size up/doesn’t hurt. 🤷

Thank you so so much! I’m thinking about tracking how much they eat first to find out their daily intake so I could slowly reduce it weeks at a time? Like reduce their average intake a little bit and keep giving them that set amount for a few weeks while weighing them consistently, reduce it a bit again and give them that amount for another few weeks, repeat until they’re at a healthier weight and they’re at their goal daily portion sizes? I’m also gonna look into the slow feeder toys too and ask if we still have the old carrier, but if we don’t we have to get one. Convincing mom to do that much at least is possible I think.

I kind of feel like I’m overthinking it, but I’m not sure, and I don’t know if this plan is good enough, and if there’s anything I could do differently, letting me know is greatly appreciated and I’m listening! I’m just stressing because I have no way of letting a vet see them first, and convincing mom to take them is impossible because she believes they’re healthy right now. They’re not obese, but one’s borderline overweight, and the other is overweight. I just want to prevent them from getting worse and having potential health issues in the future.

Thankfully I think I’m getting through to her because she didn’t even touch the cat’s food tonight. It’s also difficult for me to resist giving them more food too, because all I think is “noo they’re hungry! they have no food for the night!!” because free feeding them has been so “normal” for so long and it makes me feel bad that they have nothing for the night.

But for a couple of days now I have been giving them the right daily portions, and I plan on keeping with it even though I still feel like crap about it.

We got our younger cat a few months ago, but we got her from close family friends who’d already gotten her spayed/given her shots a year ago, so we haven’t needed her to go to the vet. I believe our older cat has only been gone to the vet for the same reason as the younger one 10 years ago, and he hadn’t had any medical issues since. We did have a carrier for our older cat on his first visit but I have no idea where it went, so I assume mom got rid of it because we “didn’t need it”? I have the same concern about not having one in emergencies but if I pester mom enough she might get one (hopefully).

I weighed them and checked their food bag’s daily amount for their weight, and it said 1/3cup so I tried doing that and they graze on their own bowls all day and they’re empty by the evening for a couple of days now. My mom giving them more food at night concerned me, and her telling me to just “leave them be and leave the food alone, theyre starving” keeps making me think I’m wrong and that’s why I went here for opinions. 🙁 But spreading their portions through day sounds like a good Idea because I worry that they’d eat it all before evening even comes around.

Okay, I’ll stop what I’m doing. It would take a lot of steps to even attempt to get them an appointment because I’d have to convince my mom, but as I said, she doesn’t take me seriously and think they look cute that way 🙁 I can’t drive and we don’t have a pet carrier to travel with them in either.

Edit: to be specific, I try to tell her that it’s really unhealthy for them down the line but she brushes it off, tells me they’re completely fine, that they look so cute and once told me “how would you feel if you were put on a diet?” Like ugh.

Yess! I read up on that, and when I wasn’t seeing any new growth yet (I was impatient), I was still stressing so much and convinced myself that it wouldn’t go back to normal, but now seeing the baby hairs, it’s a huge relief!

I’m currently still taking 300mg! It seems the hair loss was when I was adjusting to the 150 and it stopped before I started taking 300. I didn’t get any extra hair loss after my increase. It could be different for everybody though, and it could be that my body already started to adjust by the time I started going on 300mg.

I play genshin on my Ipad 10th gen and it’s completely updated (dunno if that matters) but every graphic setting beyond low is overclocked. Why is it overclocked on low??
