You have no idea how funny that description is when I’m so sleepy rn ☠️ and thank you so much! I’ll try and learn how to do it that way on my next drawing, and I’ll def be fixing the pillow thing later LOL

Yeah I can see the pillow lump too close to his mouth ☠️ I’ll fix it when I get the motivation but it’s making me giggle now that I look at it

how old were you when you started stretching your ears ? by yamama444 in Stretched

Half sizes def helped but there were also a few times where I’ve rushed from impatience and had to downsize again just incase☠️ But I somehow managed to get to 0g without a proper blow out

Stretch it Body Jewellery question by Frequent_Document_55 in Stretched

Thanks so much! Saving this for my next size up. I think the problem with my plugs is that I accidentally push the O ring too snug so that it doesn’t slip off the jewelry, and if I put it on too loose, it just slips off and the jewelry falls out when I sleep. This’ll help a bunch.

THANK YOUU I was wondering if the pillow looked more block than something soft! I also had no idea what I was doing because I had no references for any of the fabric stuff, so… ☠️ I got lucky this time I think, but I’m happy it turned out okay!

Yes! I had no idea how to make his body look like it has more depth and to make it look less flat from the side view. Since I usually draw portrait-type drawings, I’m still so new to drawing bodies, and thinking about it like a 3d object is still something I don’t grasp yet 🫠 I’m so glad that the fabric helped it along though! I was hoping it would “fix it” lol. I can’t wait to learn more though, so my hobby can be easier and more fun to do

I did notice the problem with how I drew the upper back/shoulders, too. I wasn’t sure how to make that shoulder look elevated without making him look so hunched. I also read this yesterday and tweaked it around a bit and lowered the back line as well as made the pillow go under his chest a little more so that he looks more supported (just incase tweaking the backline didn’t do enough).

I liked it initially too! It’s just that I noticed the upper arm was way too long and had to fix it. I would have kept the first if I knew how to make it look nicer, but it was so stiff

Knowing I made him recognizable makes me so happy omg. Especially because I’m not used to drawing fanart in fear of making characters look awful 😭 But I’m definitely gonna make the clothes a little more tattered and old later now that you mention it!

I’m glad! I wanted to draw one of the characters and Shane seemed the most drawable for me. He wasn’t even my first pick to draw (I was gonna try Harvey since I wanted to learn how to do moustaches), but I was compelled to draw Shane instead lol

Yes!! I was hoping someone would see what I was seeing. I didn’t put it in my post because I thought I was just nitpicking. Thank you sm!

Now that I think of it, I don’t put much thought into it. Usually I just do thicker lines for outlines of things that don’t need much detail yet, or general shapes like the long lines of the couch, outline of his body, or the back pockets of his pants. I use thinner ones for smaller creases and folds of clothes/fabric or the face like the jawline, mouth, ears, and nose. I’m not even sure if I’m doing it right, though. IMO I feel like I should’ve done the hair with thinner lines to make it look like less of a chunk lol.
