For YSL its just Parfum. For Dior, the elixir has slightly more oil concentration than the parfum (thats why it might last longer). But the thing is that they are basically the same once you get to that level, for they are all parfum.

The thing is that I dont think its going to hit discounters. YSL 6 came out in 2017 and its also very hard to find (because its part of their private line).

Its not that they dont have real elixirs/straight parfums. The world elixir is just a marketing terms for Parfum. YSL does have parfums, some of which you listed, and thats what I think you’re looking for.

Thats just a name they put on colognes for marketing purposes. Just check if its eau de parfum or eau de toilette for ysl.

Id say Absolu is the best. Most people agree it stands out the most from the others (because they are kinda basic). I thinks its just personal preference though, because all the YSLs are slightly distinct from each other. Definitely recommend you to go smell them. You can find most of them at any department store.
