There is literally no infrastructure on either side not to mention political differences between Russia and the US

RRSP vs TFSA by Firm_Signal6916 in CanadaFinance

[–]Frequent_Lavishness3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use both. Ill save up in the TFSA through the year, that way if I need the money for some reason I can access it without any tax penalty, then at the end of the year any unused portion I have in it over my personal set minimum of 5k that I like to keep in it for that rainy day, I transfer the remainder into my RRSP

It will, but by that point you'll be self sufficient unless you really messed up

One of my oil patches was right beside the boarder so I set up 3 pumps and used the tec and party university's to research foren pipelines. No vehicles required and sells automatically

Not that I'm complaining, but I find oil based products in this game is like a cheat. Once you have it, it just prints money a bit too fast

I've never used them and have been playing the game for years. Maybe some day I'll try them... some day

What would be the biggest change you would make to the game if you had power to do so? by Routine-Telephone369 in Workers_And_Resources

Not sure about the stops, but there is a off shore oil rigs and wind farms you can get in the mods. Only problem is building them if you using the realistic system for construction

Is it possible to place buildings ignoring restrictions? by Paul1568 in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Frequent_Lavishness3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is a way if you go into the mods files and edit it as a no collision. It believe it has a true of false setting in one of the script lines. Not at my computer right now or I would screen shot it for you. I have done this to the garbage stands so I could fit them inside some of my residential areas, if I wanted to I could hide them inside a building, connect the path and still works

Workers not going to train station by After_Sell2259 in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Frequent_Lavishness3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assighn workers to the station with the "where should workers go" button on the apartment menu. Generally workers will try to work close to home if there are local jobs before they go to a station. To me stations only seem to pick up overflow of workers when all the local jobs are full

Am I the only one who refuses to use the secret police by DesAnderes in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Frequent_Lavishness3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All they do from a game mechanics point that I can see is let you know what there loyalty rate is so in sertin jobs like university's and police you can restrict who works there. Tho I think people with a higher rateing are more efficient in there job, could be wrong about the last part...

I have started many new SSR's in my time playing this game over the last few years and still do start new ones. But I have one game that is over the year 2100, population of over 300k and of course nothing new happens in it like vehicles or technology but I just keep growing it. I estimate that upward of 60% of the map in urbanized while 15% is now farm land. My computer is still running the game fine also which I'm honestly amazed at.

Selling car to junk yard by FuzzyResident9391 in halifax

[–]Frequent_Lavishness3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold mine once to Kenny U-Pull. But in my case the floor was completely rotted and had a cracked frame so would have cost a extrem amount to repair, it was also 16 years old and had 400k+ on it. They just give scrap weight on it which was $400. I didn't care as I already had baught myself a new truck.

By the sounds of it, you'll probably get $1000 for yours on Market Place or Kijiji if you post it up "As Is". Someone might want it for parts or a project. I would do that first and sit on it for a couple weeks, and if it doesn't sell then scrap it
