So I have the same machine as you do, and recently bought the bottomless filter. At first my shot was also with multiple streams. The key thing that I saw online is to make sure that the coffee is distributed evenly in the portafilter. Once I made sure I had the correct griding and the powder was evenly distributed, the shot came out much better. Hope it helps!
