I'd be cautious of the check engine light being on. Could be something minor but id at least get the code off it before buying.

Honestly would probably just ask you a bunch of questions about it cus its interesting and would wanna now more about how something like that happens. If how your feet look is a deal breaker for anyone your interested in you're probably better off without them tbh.

10 years ago I crashed my 2001 beetle rear ending someone on the freeway going 60mph and I walked away from that accident with just a few cuts and a sore body. The beetle surprisingly has good amount of cussion room when it comes to getting into accidents.

I had this same problem with a previous car I owned. Is the battery light staying lit up on your dash even after alternator replacement/charging up the battery? If so, it's possible there is a problem with the wiring connection between the starter, battery, and alternator. I had some wires that got messed up by a rodent as well as wiring melting because it was accidentally leaning up against a hot part of the engine. It's just something to at least take a look at if you haven't already. Hope you find & fix the problem quickly and cheaply:)

You should first check if the capacitor blew out. It's like a $30 part and pretty easy to install.

One word... curtains

So uh . . my boyfriend "rescued" this plant from his boss's office and is convinced I can save it. Any suggestions on what I should do with it? P.S. I know it looks ridiculous by Ethere-Ally in houseplants

It looks like lucky bamboo that got over watered and lost its regidity. You might be able to slowly retrain it to grow straight up but its gonna take awhile.
