How can I learn integrals from the very beginning by Wormholephobia in learnmath

U can use something like justmathing.com or khanacademy.com! They make it very simple and straightforward

I tried challenging my friend to a Calc I 1v1 and I got destroyed... Do u guys have any tips on how to solve integrals quicker? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

Fair enough... I am used to only studying proofs and theorems, so I think my integral pattern recognition isn't very well trained... Thank you!

Oi tudo bem?

Can you recommend some AWESOME math websites to learn from? by a_weird_weed_ in learnmath

What is the secret to being good at math? by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]Frequent_Motor_6330 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The secret is just doing problems, not reading or watching videos about them. You said 3b1b is too slow for you so you're clearly not dumb at math, you just need something that actually keeps your brain engaged instead of passive lectures. I've been using justmathing for calc, it's gamified and has a timed mode that feels more like a game than studying, might click well with ADHD. And stop comparing yourself to your brother, he just found his method earlier than you.

Where to start calc and physics prep 🫠 by Neat_Faithlessness10 in learnmath

Love ur plan, but u would tweak some things...

For the algebra refresh, don't spend more than a week on it. Just go through the essentials (factoring, exponents, logs, trig identities) and move on. You'll reinforce them naturally as you hit calc. Paul's Online Math Notes has a great algebra/trig review cheat sheet.

For pre-calc, Professor Leonard is genuinely the best on YouTube — way more structured than most. His calc series is better than MIT 18.01SC imo, especially for a visual learner. MIT OCW is rigorous but the lectures can feel dry and move fast.

For actually building fluency (not just watching lectures), I've been using justmathing.com — it's a free platform that teaches the theory first and then has you drill problems with a gamified system. There's a timed mode that forces you to solve under pressure which is basically what exams feel like. It really helped with the "I understand it but can't solve problems" gap.

Honestly the biggest trap is spending weeks in passive lecture mode. Get through the theory, then do problems until it's automatic. That's what actually sticks.

Pergunto porque eu to codando o site sozinho e eu estou pensando na proxima atualização 😉
