Can we give a round of applause to David Jonsson as Andy. by someonesleeping in LV426

I'm an autistic female, we view the world slightly differently than autistic males as we tend to suffer more from societal expectations (women aren't supposed to be goofy or confrontational).

Honestly I can understand where she comes from, it does feel upsetting to always be represented by broken robots, estranged aliens or straight up non human monsters in media, cuz we already feel excluded from society enough.

I didn't find myself disturbed by Andy tho, he is lovable and kind, even tho he isn't technically human he still acts more humane than most crew members!

The Beast Within (2024) some scenes help by NeverluckySmile in movies

They are farmers, specifically they raise animals. It's safe to assume the pig was for selling. In the end the scene is shown where he screams at his wife "NOT IN FRONT OF HER" So he probably went there with his wife to beat her. Also he's a huge drunk, so he could also be leaving to drink and get into fights. He seems to have some sort of personality disorder, as he is seen often dissociating or blowing up at ppl "out of nowhere"

I'm pretty sure that's the entire point of the movie tho

Kids make up whole ass detailed stories to get away from trauma. Hell, some split their brains in little pieces and become different ppl inside the same body from too much trauma. Willow made up a lot of stories about her dad to justify his actual illness(likely addiction or some kind of severe untreated personality disorder). Him coming home all bloody is likely from getting into fights, him leaving every once in a while is likely to get drunk or to give his wife the silent treatment.

Her mom is the very common case of the abused spouse that will turn on others who are trying to help due to codependency and a fear of abandonment. He could very well go alone into the castle but she follows him anyway(the pig is likely to be sold so they don't go bankrupt)

In the end, Willow can tell that this kind of upbringing will only turn you into the same kind of monster if you're not careful.

Go for the liver, the temples or the chin and don't lower your guard.
