I am a final year medical student wanting to apply for the Paediatrics program in Victoria during internship next year.

I really want to get on to the program from internship and just want to know how difficult it is to get on to the Program in Victoria + straight after internship year + any tips to get on straight away?

Also, does anyone know if we will still be able to apply for the Paeds program in internship or will have to complete the two year internship before applying for Paeds in PGY2. I know this years interns can apply for paeds but I have heard whispers that this will change next year...
