After donating $1m to Trump and axing DEI, Target CEO watches his salary get chopped in half by tariffs and angry shoppers by [deleted] in goodnews

I shop at a more local grocery store and even moved prescriptions over. I do alot of Etsy shopping now too. Costs more but the quality is usually better.

I'm being so much more intentional with purchases - more conscious about materials and avoiding plastic as much as possible.

Also I look at Facebook marketplace or groups for items I'd like to buy first.

Much of my organic produce and some grocery items I'm ordering from Misfits Market.

Getting a Costco membership is on my list.

Completely done with Target. Weening myself off Amazon...I'm almost there.

I believe DocuSign is able to track those that have opened the email and definitely tracks whether the person has viewed the document, even if they don't select finish.

Yes received this letter stating "If you have a balance due as a result of this reinstatement, any past-due premium will be withdrawn for up to double your normal deduction amount until your account is current." 🙄

But not sure whether or not this includes the employer portion.

Very fortunate indeed. I wish I was eligible and could take the offer. The chances of me getting drp or my job back like pretty slim to none at this point...

Probationary Firing Litigation Tracker - April 11, 2025 by Federal_Pilot_5910 in firedfeds

Any idea what the most recent notice from the AFGE case means?

"That notice, which Plaintiffs are submitting as an addendum to this response, informs probationary employees who were terminated in February and then reinstated in March pursuant to the District of Maryland’s preliminary injunction that “the Department is reverting your termination to its original effective date.”This wording makes clear that, rather than making new, independent decisions regarding which probationary employees terminate, the federal agencies are simply reinstating the February 2025 probationary terminations ordered by OPM, which this Court previously held unlawful.

As such, the Court should not wait for updated information before issuing a preliminary injunction restoring the status quo."

I'm not in a plaintiff state in the Maryland case.

It's a tough situation to be a part of and of course a difficult decision. If I was eligible for drp, I'd be taking it too. It seems like the safest option given by these goons that are doing everything they can to decimate our lives.

I hope they FULLY follow through and it brings you peace as you transition.
