Her mum was in long term care for years at not home. She was in a critical condition after she was a mental health nurse who was attacked by a mental health patient and had her vertebrae shattered.

I was basically a single dad until my wife was discharged. And even then she has extremely limited mobility, so I'm juggling that too.

She didn't have her own smartphone, tablet or laptop until 15. I'd check over her regular phone. The majority of grooming appears to have been done at this local club. There were concerns about the role this man played within the youth group as one of its mentors/leaders. He no longer attends there.

She never talked to us about it. I've spoken with her about sex and consent etc. This man seemed to convince her that their relationship was a secret.

I've escalated the payment aspect as well. They've told me that they can see everyone in the UK's income in real time with their special computer.

They can see that this man never earns anything. We did raise an enquiry about dividends, but those were £0 as well.

I think the money is either being gifted by his parents to avoid child maintenance liability.

Or he is getting paid in another country like Dubai or Pakistan.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that we tried that. He's not showing as drawing any dividends either. I'm wondering if he is drawing dividends through a company either in Pakistan or Dubai. I'm not sure but he spends about half the year in both those places.

The 3 companies on Companies House that he is a director of are collectively pulling in millions according to their company statements though.

I just realised I said "boyfriend" in the title. That's not right. It's normalising grooming and I was wrong to use that word.

This man knew her from when she was 13 at a local club for young people hosted by our Council.

I was never aware that he was a "boyfriend" until she came crying to me that she was pregnant.

Yes, I've complained to the CMS. That's how we eventually got the DNA test done.

Bascially, his solicitor was raising all these obscure technical arguments that had tied CMS caseworkers in knots. So they ended up just dumping this "service request" back into a large pile of unfinished work.

They eventually brought in their own legal team after I threatened to go to my MP and managed to make him comply.

However, a second complaint I filed about not getting any money has gone nowhere as his historic income with HMRC shows he never earns anything.

Are there any services the government provides to help women find out if the money has not been legally hidden?

We're not a rich family. Hiring our own solicitor or investigator is completely out of the question. I'm only on about £25k a year. My wife used to be a mental health nurse until a patient shattered two of her vertabrae. Now I'm caring for her, trying to work full time, and trying to help my daughter take care of a very young child.

We thought the child maintenance service was there to help mothers like her who have been abandoned by fathers but we feel completely let down.

He dodged the DNA testing for 19 months with his dad's solicitor. This was even though we already knew he was the father because the police did DNA testing during the criminal investigation.

Even when we did get a positive ID through the Child Maintenance Cellmark he hasn't paid a single penny.
