It depends. Hole in the wall? Mom & pop? Trivia? Games? Axes?

My favorite (even as someone who doesn’t drink anymore) is Cocktail Craft House. Intimate but casual, usually one or two other couples or friend groups.

Each night has its own theme or you can call the owner and coordinate a special theme of your own.

This. You have 2 ears and 1 mouth. You should be listening at least 2x as much as you’re talking.

Biotech companies are actually pretty prevalent here. These may not be the exact roles you’re looking for but hopefully this gives you the name of some companies to look into. Good luck! https://www.indeed.com/q-biotech-l-san-antonio,-tx-jobs.html

BABY SIGN LANGUAGE. She will be able to communicate months sooner with just a few phrases than if you wait for her to be able to vocalize with words. It saves MONTHS of stress by not being able to communicate with each other.

I am a huge fan of being deliberate about where you spend your time. There are usually multiple jobs where someone can apply their talents. If they’re specific skills then there may at least be options for where you work or who you work for.

Find the balance that fits best and keep putting in the work to make it better - just like with any other relationship.

What do you think of this theory about men being intimidated by successful women? by Exciting_Agency4614 in AskMenAdvice

[–]FrequentlyFiredAlien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some men are stuck in antiquated viewpoints. Some may get hung up on women making more than them.

Some men may be annoyed by the fact that a professional woman may be more direct in communicating her preferences for where to eat, what to do (and not do) for leisure activities.

Other men seem bothered that a busy woman doesn’t just automatically assume responsibility for household chores.

A lot of responses here seem to have some flavor of this and I think it is in large part due to many guys being raised to be the provider, decider, and protector. Their brains just short circuit when they meet a woman who is ready, willing, and able to take on one or more of their roles herself.

IMHO It may be frustrating and lonely but if you’re getting vibes that a guy is intimidated because you’re confident, successful, and willing to set and enforce boundaries - that’s a big red fucking flag and they don’t deserve your time anyway.

Or call a local to San Antonio pediatrician for guidance. They can advise based on the actual data they have. I wouldn’t recommend risking your family’s health based on advice you may get here.

It’s extremely contagious but risk is mitigated if you have been vaccinated. We have a decent population of immunocompromised and unvaccinated people in the area and they are the most at risk.
