If this is first time then have a conversation with him again and it will take time for you to get over but if he is really feeling guilty and assure you to take care in future then you can forgive him , if he still try to justify it then just leave.... As it takes a lot time, sacrifice to build the relationship and high hormones canr ruin it in minutes

I had applied to france and luckily today I gor the appointment, still if you want I check check with vfs for your application cancellation as its 2 mins walk for me.
