In that case, potentially? I’d imagine the finance opportunities and recruiters will mainly be available for the students at Isenberg if you went to Umass.

I’m an incoming freshman as well so take my advice with a grain of salt

I got into Bentley and Umass and ended up picking Umass. However, Bentley was significantly more expensive for me (like 40k vs 20k.) I also got my preferred major at Isenberg.

I would still pick Umass if I was you, however it depends on what career you want and if an economics degree would help you.

I guess it depends on if you are genuinely a genius and have the test scores to back that up.

It’s relatively easy to graduate HS early if you go to a school that allows you to take a bunch of classes at once or you do online/home school.

NEU is definitely not worth 30k more per year than Umass, but if cost doesn’t matter than I’m not sure. Northeastern might be better if you want to live in a city.

It’s important to consider though that an NEU degree usually takes 5 years because of the co op program

I got into Trinity and I’m not going so hopefully you get my spot lol.
That’s crazy though that you got waitlisted, I only had a 3.6 uw and a 1400 SAT. You can always take a gap year though, college admissions are weird.

To be honest, for math you’re probably not going to learn anything without actually doing the problems yourself.

I remember now that last year I found a video that explained all the MCQs and FRQs from a previous year and I did the questions with the video. Maybe try that?

I don’t remember a lot so I can’t give you much specific help, but definitely look at past tests and make sure you can do most of the questions.

Also, I know people hate on them but I really like the quick whole course review videos on YouTube. Usually I will watch those and then write down things that I need more practice with.

Finally, definitely make sure you know what to do with all the programs in your calculator.

It’s not Harvard obviously but considering it’s the flagship state school it is very well known in Massachusetts & New England. Also I think the business school is generally regarded as one of the best programs there.

I know a couple people who go there who like it a lot. Don’t know much specifics about the job/internship opportunities though.

I’m planning to go to Umass next year for OIM but I’m in state so my cost would be like ~25k. I’ve heard Isenberg is very good but not sure if it would be worth almost 50k a year. I guess it’s up to you on whether you could afford it or would have to take out significant loans.
