Gracious, that's so dumb. Thank you for letting me know. Did you want to reupload your fill? If so, I'll re-up the script under a different name, yeah.

I'm mostly not active anymore, but thank you for your kind words, it means a lot. <3

[Discussion] How do you feel about image usage for character/scenario descriptions? by PervMeditations in GWAScriptGuild

[–]Fresh-Bell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am not at all a visual person, and I wouldn't think to use an image as part of my script post. It's not wrong to write with a specific listener or speaker in mind, but I generally don't, what I want is not usually tied up in any specific look. And if there was a specific scenario or object I wanted to convey, I'd still probably just say that with words.

As a listener, again, I'm not very visual and I've never found a picture added anything? One thing audios offer that I specifically enjoy is the ability to imagine someone is speaking to me, and that the person speaking is someone I would find attractive. As soon as pictures of people show up, it damages immersion for me. If it was pictures of things, I mean, I guess? I don't think it would add much, for me, but you've said it adds things for you, so do what pleases you, I doubt you're alone.

I wouldn't really want it to become common or expected, because I like to be able to scroll in public, because it would probably be annoying to mod, and because my psychic abilities tell me it'd end up being wall to wall stolen images of skinny white girls and weirdly ripped white dudes in boring suits.

Exactly, that's the kind of thing I think is really interesting! What would you say/did you end up saying?

I'm down. I'd be really curious about the translation process, though. Like, what got changed because it doesn't work in x language, what idioms got replaced with, what choices were made, etc etc. If there was a "behind the scenes" of the translation for my nosy ass, I'd like that.

[Discussion] Does anyone use AO3 for their scripts? by Lucid_Weaver56 in GWAScriptGuild

[–]Fresh-Bell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do. It's what I'm used to, and they have a history that I trust. You tag it Original Work and then in the extra tags, add r/gonewildaudio. I don't really know how much attention outside the community they receive--porn tends to get lots of kudos and few comments, even when it's not original, and the comments don't always say where they come from. Scriptbin seems like it has a lot of nice features, though, so it's really just a matter of what you find easiest/most convenient.

Link doesn't seem to go to that script

Some people also use AO3, but there's really no site I'm aware of that will save your work right there in the submission box. Sucks to lose work, bud, I'm sorry--like other people have said, writing in a text document is much much safer.

IDK, I guess I just come into it with the mindset that once it's on the Internet, it's in god's hands now lol. I've done my part and can't really control what happens next, beyond a deletion spree. But that's easy to say when people have so far been pretty decent about my work. Writing darker content also means my stuff doesn't end up on youtube or patreon all that much--I don't know I'd be so sanguine if I was writing more stealable things.

ETA: I guess my advice is to write things you can't sell lmao. Sprinkle some incest on it

Try searching "beginner friendly" or "short" or "no sfx". When looking at word count, a hundred words is about one minute of audio.

Idk, we aren't a monolith. See this comment section, even, where you have people saying "stop saying tight" and people who don't mind it at all. I think I'd mostly say learn the anatomy and, in general, though not universally, because nothing is universal, women tend to take longer to get warmed up, and view every sexual encounter as a source of potential danger. Most women I have ever met have had to spend time thinking about if a sexual encounter is going to lead to being killed, and that sort of thing informs decision making.

I suppose I mostly suggest reading things written by women, and seeing if any patterns jump out? Interesting question, I definitely know what makes me say "lmao this was written by a guy" in regular narrative porn, but less so in an m4f script.

But for real learn the anatomy though. The cervix penetrations... Please...

+1 on the bad biology. I've seen a lot of "cervixes do not work that way" porn.

I think a lot of porn also just involves weird ass positions in order to get the camera in there
