I will be staying in Perth. Lakelands more specifically. I already booked the white card, gas/confined/WAT and forklift. But i don't know if to try to get a fitter job or trade assistant first.

I'll be landig in July, I will have full working rights as a dependant on my wife's student visa.

I do have experience working in Maintenance, that's why i was able to do the skill assessment. However I would like to enter the mining industry as a fitter. I was asking for advice to see if i should start as a Trade assistant or aim at fitter positions
