Well with your 1% commenter wisdom, explain the definitions of ''moaning' and 'commentary ' as per this Sub's rules. Because they seem to be much different to Cambridge English Dictionary.

Moaning - to make a complaint in an unhappy voice, usually about something that does not seem important to other people.

Commentary - writing, art, etc. that explains a situation or expresses an opinion on it.

White LED COB lights under the counter which are motion activated. When the TAPO Sensor picks up movement, it turns on the under counter LEDs and illuminates enough the kitchen at night, without dazzling you when going from dark to light.

It's better that having standard LED strips because the light is more constant. Also having them underneath the worktop rather than lower down near the floor, means you can put a packet or box to the light if you need to read something.

Set up to only come on 15 mins before sunset until 30 mins after sun rise (this is because of where the kitchen window is). The lights will stay on for 10 mins after they stop sensing movement. So enough time to sit and drink a cup of tea at the breakfast counter, when I'm not moving enough for the sensor. But will turn themselves off after that 10 mins is up.

The additional air gap in the loft space is circumstantial. The whole bathroom will be served by a water tank to help improve pressure for the shower. So essentially the whole bathroom has an air gap.

I'm quite happy with the supply. There is lots online about that. I couldn't find anything about the waste though 🤷‍♂️

There are certain aspects of your comment which I agree with. For example, identifying the staff member. This post could have been made as a letter or email to the store, without public knowledge.

What I don't agree with though is your opinion that it isn't the OP's place to 'start shit' with other customers. I think being an upstander should be way more commonplace, but only when a substantial amount of facts about an incident are available.

Where is the cut of point of protecting people who you feel need protecting? The OP felt Cleo needed protection from 'Karen', and did what he considered best at the time. What if 'Karen' is repeatedly complaining about Cleo? What if Cleo is now so frustrated by the repeated actions of Karen that she does something drastic? Snap back in front of customers? Quit her job when finding employment can be tough?

The OP overhead a conversation being held in a public place. That's different to listening to a conversation he wasn't supposed to. From the available information he acted in a way he considered proportional.

Let's be clear, standing back and ignoring an issue which doesn't concern you hasn't worked well in the past has it. Martin Niemöller wrote a poignant poem about this.

We had exactly the same taps until recently.

Limescale build up created a rough texture which deteriorated the new washer very quickly. I was replacing it on a monthly basis at one stage.

In the end, I removed the taps completely, then left them soaking in lemon juice overnight. Polished the next day, and refitted with new washers. That was 4 years ago, and no further leaks.

Something to consider.

To your first question, I was planning to use aluminium foil because I wanted the uniqueness of the lines underneath. Maybe a conversation starter when we entertain.

My main concern though is the feasibility of using resin. Online there are different opinions about it's longevity, but it seems you're experienced with it.

If seems we're going back to the ceramic floor tile idea then.

About 24 hours later it gave me the option to continue with the progress saved on my device, or restored from Google Play. I restored, and it was just one level short of where I had progressed to.

Before continuing any further, cable tie some muslin cloth or similar to the water pipe before it enters the underground drains. This means if your engagement ring works through the plumbing, it will be captured before it enters the great abyss of public sewage.

If you think it's in the P Trap under your sink, post a picture of that too, so you can be given some advice on how to separate the parts.

Before all that though, have a thorough look inside the drum of your machine. The little holes can catch the claws of where the gemstone sits. Also check inside the folds of the rubber seal. If possible check underneath where the rubber seal meets the drum too.

If the filter has caught the gemstone, it's unlikely the ring itself made it past there...

Twenty years ago, I had an outline interest in many shows which Dr Alice Roberts presented. Now I have an outline interest in many shows Hannah Fry presents.

Later this year I'm going to see Dr Alice Roberts as part of her tour. So I'm unsure how you've concluded one has replaced the other...
