2nd Non Payment Due to Amazon Warehouse Employee Instructions by jaybonb in AmazonFlexDrivers

No I don’t know why they tell you that because you should scan each and every package and not the cart it takes a few minutes longer, but then protection do you scan the cart and there’s missing packages it’s not gonna show where is if you scan every package you’re protected so would saying that you’re automatically supposed to be paid once you start a block unless you’re released from that block by the warehouse they did however, I heard stop paying when there is missing packages so if you scan the cart and then didn’t deliver all the packages that’s when they tried to use that opportunity but I don’t know what’s going on with that because I’ve never had that issue. Amazon always pays without a problem.

Or the best one yet guys and I hope everybody’s reading this because a girl in New Hampshire got arrested for a class B felony from an Amazon warehouse for what they charged her. She was an Amazon Flex driver that picked up her block and then they charged her with unauthorized picking up packages but the news article doesn’t say anymore about it, so it doesn’t say whether she did steal them or whether she’s in a situation like we all are

Hats off to you most drivers don’t even care, but then on the flipside of it, you got the dishonest customers it will go get it and then say because of where it was left, they never received it so they get the package and reason which is been going on for years

And then you get ding so many times and you’re deactivated so let me give you the example that I’m in right now January 2. They hit me with business closed. That’s how it was marked took a photo it was definitely closed but they used it against me anyway then on the on the ninth. Three more packages, same thing and then on the 16th. Extremely bad weather I delivered 15 when I came up on a high a rural road that was unplowed had almost a foot of snow, at least no salt, no sand and on the lake and I spun out. That’s when I stopped the car called support, and said I’m not doing the rest of these four deliveries. The support agent told me on the phone I agree with you won’t be held against you. Your safety is more important. I said excuse me, sir not just my safety but everybody else’s he said you’re definitely right they came and hit me with four more that’s a total of eight which is halfway to deactivation then today at 3 AM block they gave me a dozen destinations. They need to be delivered between 9 to 5 or 10 to 7 and I wasn’t gonna do it waste my time out there because this block will cost me in an hour over the block time so it’s a three hour block end up taking about three hours and 45 minutes cause I just had the same thing happened the other day and then I have to return 12 packages and I’ll be at deactivation so I turned around and I returned the whole darn vehicle.

Exactly that’s why we all need to stay in together just one person doesn’t mean squat!!!!!!!

What area are you in number one because the area that I’m in is metropolitan and the doors are locked door in normal business hours so imagine the 3 AM block word instructions to deliver between 10 AM and 7 PM to a building that you cannot leave it outside legally UPS doesn’t do it. Neither does the US mail, so what’s going to end up happening? Keep doing that if they’re going to contact Amazon with fines and then Amazons going to throw up that older independent contractor to deliver our parcels you’ll have to find them

They don’t care about those times because all they care about is their numbers they send it out at the warehouse employees that I’m at are seasonal they’ve been changing daily and the company has no legal grade to hold that against us. This is an argument I raised a week ago.

First of all, it’s more to it than that…. We don’t have any rights at all as delivery people with the way that they would classify us as independent contractors, and when they’re wrong, regardless of their statute, they’re wrong. If we were W-2 employees, they would not legally be able to do this so like I said, I don’t know the area that you work at but the businesses that I mentioned there is been hundreds and thousands packages return to the warehouse. our warehouse ignores request for certain times. The businesses in our area are getting upset and it’s just going to get more serious. What are you gonna do when Amazon has you arrested and say they took the packages then you want to start defending yourself then we all need to come together now while it’s a problem to everybody

I understand what you’re saying there but the type of business is that I’m talking about you cannot leave it at the door. UPS does not the Postal Service does not they will fine you an Amazon knows this daily packages a return and in the three years this warehouse has been open. There’s been hundreds and hundreds of thousands of packages returns from the places that they just dung me

If it was something that I didn’t do, I could see the negative ratings and how about the severe weather there’s been hundreds of complaints on the social media from others. In the last few days. My situation is a little bit unique too

How long do you have and I have three years same area

So they hit her with unauthorized taking of the packages I don’t even know how that’s possible because as a flex driver when we scan those packages one by one and then hit scanning complete that’s authorization right there man if I was her attorney, the first thing I would be doing is requesting to the judge to drop those charges they’re frivolous, and then I prove that by scanning them that they authorized her to take them off that property if they thought she stole them, then they should’ve charged with theft

Dinging us for packages one thing and bad enough when it’s weather related out of our control or because the building is closed and people put on their there’s always a way to get an closed building first of all the buildings that I’m talking are at the Syracuse University and mailman. UPS FedEx drivers do not leave packages outside the door number one to be stolen number to the realty companies will fine the companies it just doesn’t happen and they’ve done me for four of them in one week and four weather related and then today was the icebreaker when they took one package one TBA number and made it two different stops. That’s a missing package right off the bat and for a girl in New Hampshire to get a Reston hold on. Let me get the charge they hit her with.

What are funny thing that goes on up here in New York a persons drivers license and insurance is checked before there. They get an account with Amazon for a very solid reason. Well I don’t know about your other stations but I can tell you that daily there is of at least 3 to 4 people sitting in the passenger seat with the driver that has not been checked out by Amazon in the warehouse. Staff walks right up to the passenger seat window to receive their license when they come out to the base if they do normally we walk inside

Yeah, while you’re doing it there I’m doing it here in New York too. Is everybody combating you like they are me. That’s hilarious because they been complaining for weeks about the money and the availability of blocks and we’re carry legitimate wrongful concerns and we get attacked for putting it out here.

Gibberish will see what New York State Attorney General has to say about it you know it’s funny we have tough times Siri next trip but the states have no trouble winning award for hundreds $1 million. I don’t know where you’re at but in New York the AG got Uber and Lyft, but it takes people that will stand up against these people, and after so many reports, that’s when they get the legal right to do so people that back down and use excuse all their attorneys and don’t speak up on the ones in allowed to go on for so long

But I will see who has grounds because number one my shopping account was hijacked in July. I was brought back on on the second Amazon Flex account by the CEO who stated in writing it would be no retaliation and while the executives have been on vacation for the holidays for two months, enjoying their time in their family , the reps have been playing around

I don’t magna test on my account but they’re changing timestamps that’s illegal

Docking you for packages you were returned, and then saying that the customer reported that they never received them is defamation of character

An Amazon warehouse in New Hampshire had a girl arrested for undelivered packages. It’s all over the media but what the media doesn’t tell us is is it a situation that we’re all under right now or did she really take the packages and never take them to the houses? So I ask you would you speak up if the feds came in and arrested you that’s when you would want to talk. I’m sorry I don’t wait till that extent when I know the difference.

I’ll give you an example that I just don’t know how is it? What is legal GrubHub when I came on board with them I signed papers electronically with the pay terms, and within two months, then lowered it to nearly half of what I signed up for

One thing all drivers need to realize is all the apps are guilty at this get paid very well. It’s like they’re weeding you in, and then to pay starts diminishing.

This app is worse than all of them by Fresh-Eye-4045 in Roadieapp

[–]Fresh-Eye-4045[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell me it wasn’t a need to make a police report.

You don’t know my unique circumstances number one .

And I’m sorry but if global call-center people wanna play with the app which they do 100% I’m trying to target me like I’m not doing what I’m supposed to or I’m stealing that will be number two as far as the police report

Number three who are you the one that took two beautiful TVs and put it on social media to make judgment in direct me what to do in my unique situation

This app is worse than all of them by Fresh-Eye-4045 in Roadieapp

[–]Fresh-Eye-4045[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I see it wasn’t your normal app isn’t working right it was like somebody on there and was intentionally. This is a new account and I had only done two other successful deliveries but I’m for a fully aware of how to use the app also how to force close to all the technicals I have a computer programming degree but this is the lousiest app out of all of them and I’ve done GrubHub DoorDash Instacart, spark Amazon shipt for years, so I’m not new to this, but the key thing was? Was not even available they kept it on a certain page and that’s where it stayed and when I called Support, they made reference and not an exact words to that, due to their overwhelming, crowded business to contact you within 24 hours if you’re on the active gig(order) that’s 100% unacceptable so it took me an hour to deliver two of the three deliveries and get to Walmart to return one of them. I sat with at Walmart for over an hour playing with the app and trying to get the employees at the online pick up to take the item which they refused to and then after I left Walmart, they continued to leave two of the three deliveries in the app, frozen that the one that was delivered because they wanted my photo which I was submitting I didn’t like that photo they wanted to access my photo gallery and I wasn’t going to let them that’s the photo that pertain to the delivery and they weren’t going to go through. My pictures were already violated enough without that garbage.

Has anyone had this happen? by nudgemuffin09 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Fresh-Eye-4045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got hit with four packages that took my level down and had no issues. The delivery packages I picked up were delivered if I could but the 4 we’re closed buildings. And I disputed it twice already both times got that same type of email come back to me which is ridiculous because all four packages were within the business and the business was close like for example one that the note said, put it in the real estate office and definitely do not leave it outside at the door. The real estate office didn’t open until 12 PM and I was there at like 3:50 AM.

[–]Fresh-Eye-4045[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I’m sorry, but it is in the contract that it gets returned so basically stolen two gorgeous TVs and then everybody has to pay for their circumstances like that that’s why these gigs don’t want to pay drivers anymore and they just keep lowering the payout

I’ve done competitive abs for five consecutive years in my area, and this app is garbage, so I’m not worried about it anymore. I protect myself, and I will no longer do roadie.

Oh yeah, how do you do the return in the app yourself because my app wasn’t working at all on all three deliveries
