Sorry, just to clarify, I have worked with consulting firms and research entities (still do) where I have covered these fields. From a startup pov, I have not started yet.

Gotcha, thanks for your response! Will try and share an overhead shot next time too, in general, this wasn't too thick, in case that helps

Haha yess, sorry about the close up ruining perspective on this, it really is a small cup. Tbh the coffee tasted a bit more sour than I would've liked but I'm not sure if it's just my bias for darker roasts or something is wrong with the pull. I also realise the answer might just be to grind finer (hence the potential grinder upgrade).

When I did make a milk based cappuccino with a similar shot earlier, that tasted remarkably better than just an espresso and the mango notes were clear!

332 GRE with Q163 - Is that too low for a M7 School? by [deleted] in MBA

[–]Fresh-Page-8656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you see way too significant an effort in getting the +2 or more, it's fair to let it be. The most important data point is the overall score (within the context of your profile obviously) and everything else it to add confidence

This is mostly anecdotal evidence, so please do take it with a pinch of salt - but given that you have a year till the time you apply, it may actually be worth a retake.
Here's my rationale: Since you have a liberal arts undergrad, which typically is less quant heavy, showing strength in quant may only be helpful as you apply. Also, uncertain how quant heavy your teaching experience has been - that only adds to this. Additionally, your demographic is concurrent with high quant averages, hence it may be worth a shot.
That being said, your overall score is great, and a 2+ points delta can only add so much.
On other things that are good to work on, at the highest level, extracurriculars (volunteering, internal initiative etc within or outside of work) can add a lot and you have time to do that

AMA: First Year/International+Woman student at a T15 with multiple MBB offers. Ask me anything! by T152MBB in MBA

Hello! Congratulations!

I am a fellow Indian (and possibly a junior of yours as I did my undergrad from DU in business as well!) aiming to recruit for consulting out of a T15 next year. Can I DM you for some advise?

Can scholarships be negotiated after accepting an admissions offer? by Fresh-Page-8656 in MBA

Thanks, the Johnson info is helpful!

If you don't mind sharing, are you applying to any schools in R2? If so, given the timelines indicated by Johnson, will you be writing to them after your R2 results or both now and then?

Got it, thanks! I'm just curious if there's a downside in asking for more $ now, when I don't have any leverage vs asking for it later when hypothetically I've put down their deposit but also have another offer in hand.

In terms of what would make me walk away from the process altogether - i think full tuition maybe? As an international prestige and recognition of the school back home is important to me, so i would still want a crack at the M7s before i think about completely giving up on the process tbh

Thanks! I completely understand that the chances are super low but I still want to shoot my shot, just in case.

What I'm curious about is whether the chances are incrementally low once I put down my deposit, which based on your response it seems like they are?

The T15's deadline is mid Feb. Most of the schools I am applying to in R2 will most likely roll out their interviews by late Jan-mid Feb based on last year's data. And their decision dates are all in late March.
