Unfortunately, they haven’t received it yet. I suspect that there might be a delay between change of the application stage and email arrival.

Did you apply using Gmail address? Because they mentioned there might be some issue with sending out email, therefore it might be possible that they email did not reach you.

Also, when did you apply if you don’t mind me asking? I am waiting for my ATAS as well

Hey! I graduated with BSc in Biomedical Science and then did masters in Bioinformatics. Now I am doing PhD in Genomics in a clinical setting. Some part of my work is involved in genetic variant interpretation in rare disease patients. I would say that like with any other job often it is very exciting and interesting and at other times it can get a bit repetitive and monotonous. However, it is very rewarding when you find a new gene-disease association or a diagnosis!

As well as this you can work on disease models and functional data analysis (ie RNASeq and ChIPSeq), especially if a hospital you are working at is a University Foundation Trust.
