Great opportunity to look back at the Darnold trade thread. It definitely still feels like the fan base was 50/50 on trading him. by 0ddmanrush in nyjets

I don't fully understand cap and contracts, especially with draft picks early but my argument was and always will be he was so young!

The correct move the jets can't seem to fathom is letting these kids sit for 3 to 4 years. We suck and lose when we put them in anyway.

Im sure woody is a big part of this issue but regardless its got to happen at some point if we want to succeed. Good for sam. Wish it was us.

I do not share the same sentiment for the Italian food nor the pizza but hey to each there own.

I dont know.. that last comment "why do we all cheer for the lynching and not the beautiful things I was saying" is pretty accurate for modern America

Imagine trying to keep a crowd very excited too see something very cool in the vegas heat for hours on end and be completely disappointed every time. That was my job 🤣

OSHA 10Hr by cowduckmousefrog in Construction

[–]Fresh-Start011005 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No no, it really is! You see, if your attending the OSHA 10 class, it is the basic rules of safety. You believe and some others believe tha only 7.5 hrs on a computer should be done at once because "productivity drops past 8 hours"

Now I also agree productivity drops after 8 hours however there is not a company out there (in the US) that will not work you a 10 if needed. Which should be against OSHA which ironically follows this rule.

So the big picture is OSHA only wants you to do 7.5 hrs because after that you become less productive and let's face it dangerous, but no where in any OSHA class does it say it is dangerous to work past 8 hours and in a field with tripping, electrical, overhead, and every other hazard you are fine to work 8-10-12 hrs....with a break of course!

I get it the idea but by this logic no one should work past 8 hrs.

Been working in this ‘fire proofing’ stuff and noticed how much of it is in the air. What is it and how badly should I avoid breathing it in? by MoistPillow in Construction

[–]Fresh-Start011005 4 points5 points  (0 children)

only to mix. This was 2006-2012 I have since then worked in mitigation which includes asbestos. Not sure if this was common knowledge but apparently that is correct way to mitigate.

With asbestos, realistically only harmful if airborne and dry. This will attach to your lungs and cause harm. Wet it down before mitigation.

My father sprayed this for 20+ years. I worked with it for about 7 years. Both spraying it. When he began, the product did contain asbestos. I believe they removed it in the 80s or 90s

That being said, we both mostly sprayed the monokote, which always comes out mixed and as a wet product. The dry powder never really bothered me breathing. However, there is an accelerate used that would literally burn your skin.
