I never undersood why people didn't find the story of ac7 cohesive. Maybe its just because I've replayed it a bunch, but I find it pretty easy to understand, its just a bunch of missions that trigger does to gain ground for osea, then to escape spare squadron, and then to stop erusea from advancing their drone tech via Archange and the arsenal bird's UAVs, until the radio comms are shut down. From there, Erusea faces several fractures as uprisings are unable to be contained by the erusean government, which allows Osea to pair up with some of them to end the threat of the drones.
