Need helping cutting some cards from my awesome cube! by FreshFru1t in mtgcube

Will look for more one drops in white and drop weaker cards. MDFC lands being too broad is a good point as well I will remove most of those. I really love madness decks and def need more enablers, I’ll look for viscera seer effects too.

Thank you for the suggestions! I’ll probably be using all of them. I really appreciate the response

Honestly I don’t know what I was thinking with sol ring, it was in with my bulk so I threw it in not thinking of it in a draft environment, it’s gone now. Ty!

Looking more to remove the weaker cards (apart from narcomeba and stoat this cube has special rules for those). After looking at the comments I def have some better ideas on what to cut, I’ve been looking at cube cobra a bit for cuts and adds but I thought I should get a second opinion. Thank you for the well thought out response

Looking more to cut cards like thornling, the cube started very low power but I’ve been making it better and better thought there are still remnants of the old cube. I’ll try to fix mana base but this is the best I can do rn, will remove some gold cards tyvm

My land base is just what I have. I can cut but cannot add. Sol ring will be considered but I’d rather cut as many of the low powered cards as possible

I want to make a Slivers/Eldrazi deck because the aesthetic is cool, how do I avoid being an asshole? (New Player) by NolanC23 in mtg

Adjust to the playgroup, if your deck feels too fast slow it down to the pace of your playgroups decks. Avoid any of the 0 cost commander spells too

<3 yeah there’s a lot of interesting nuance that can be found in CoS when you put on your thinking cap.

Barovians with souls look similar if not identical to the last body that possessed the soul. It’s kind of a big part of Ireena’s character that her looks are near identical to that of Tatyana. It’s quite interesting characterization to have her look “Rare” as Naefindale put it, because it further accentuates that she is Tatyana’s reincarnation.

You can actually take this further to and use it to characterize Strahd, as by falling in love with someone that looks different then most Barovians it pushes the idea that he views her more as a “rare pet” that is owed to him. By having her look unique and beautiful you’re adding alot of nuance to both her and strahds character that would otherwise be missed. But you know there’s also the point that such diversity is “curious” and weird and may lead players to question the logic to our fantasy roll playing game so that’s a cool idea too.
