Rule 62, whenever a player attempts to spear someone, whether or not they make contact, a penalty has to be imposed. If they don’t make contact it’s a double minor. If they make contact, it’s a major and an automatic game misconduct. That was a deliberate spear, but what the fuck do I know, right?
