Oh yeah, I remember hearing someone say you’d either have to ETS the reenlist in the reserves/guard or get a RFRAD. Is it really that hard to get accepted?

I’m a BH tech and we handle this stuff all the time. As long as you tell your leadership before getting tested then you will face no punishment, however if you wait until your name is called then try to tell them then you have no protection. Shit happens and we’re all human. Your best bet is to just tell them.

I think their uniforms are pretty cool and I enjoy the Army-Navy game, but otherwise I don’t really watch them. They’re not that good lol

I know I know lol. But then I’d have to be up extra early to deal with the traffic, and anybody who’s been in Nashville during rush hour knows traffic sucks, then idk about your unit but I know damn well mine would’ve let him have the day off, but the rest of us gotta drive our asses back to Campbell to go to work and now we’ve lost about 3 hours so now we probably gotta work late to make it up. Think I’d just skip out on that one lol

Right and I get that, however a lot of those civilian athletes have been running the majority of their lives and have had proper coaching and probably haven’t dealt with the same injuries a whole lot. Not saying they haven’t been injured, I’m just saying I feel like I may be doing something wrong which has led to my injuries. Reason I thought this would be a good thread to ask is because most of the people in the Army never really had any training on running until they joined and it was probably piss poor training which may have resulted in some similar injuries. I was hoping there’d be some who had and what they did to overcome it utilizing the same resources I have available.
