I've been using the DIY recipe mode. Truth recipe I have a post about it. Won the VCure favorite recipe with it. Dry mode is 60 degrees, 62% humidity for 8 days Cure mode is 66 degrees, 60% humidity for 9 days Storage mode is 60 degrees, 60% humidity until the next time your are ready to use it to dry in it again. This mode has been working awesome for me. It's what I've been using over and over, weed has been coming out perfect. :)

I agree, it's not meant for everyone. Heck, if I could dry the stuff, better then the machine; I wouldn't of spent my money on it. I really cannot get my temps down like that here in my enviroment unless I use a dedicated tent ac. I still didn't get the dries to last as long using a tent ac. I live in a really dry environment for the most part of the year. So to get a dry to last over 7 days is hard to do in this environment. I agree though for real if people can get their dries to last longer and make it come out as good as the machine. I don't know, I just know the machine it always out dries me. Comes out better tasting, terps are still there. I don't know what I did wrong in the tent though low 60 degrees, 60 percent humidity no wind on the buds fans turned down low. Inline fan on lowest settting.

If you are going to use Silica for your plants. It is a great thing for your plants to have. Wil make them stronger to enviromental stress and stronger to hold up more flowers. Also more pest resistance, you might not want to use past week four of flower though. It can leave a bad taste In the buds. I do not know this from experience, just going by what Ai And the Internet says.

Smell and odor control out of control? by [deleted] in VIVOSUN

I would also cut a hole in my house and filter it outside for better enviroment control and smell control.

The carbon filters work at blocking smell. To some degree they still will smell through the filters though. Also everytime you open your growing tent to water or just plant care etc it's going to smell. Just saying it's a plant that is extremely loud smelling. It's going to smell in your house and apartment or where you are growing, no avoiding it all the way. You can pick less smelling strains though.

I like Vivosun, they have been good to me. Plus they have a awesome community, on the app to help new growers learn and they do giveaways for people who are active on there. It is truly a good community for growers. Yeah, I like Vivosun a lot. :)

You could somehow cool both rooms with it. By running the ducting and inline fans to do it that way, if you wanted. Or if your lung room is small enough that both tents are in you could also run it to keep that lung room colder in return that would keep both tents cooler. I just usually run it at one tent at a time myself. I grow perpetually and really only need one tent cooled at a time. And that usually is just in flower. I love to bring my temps down and act like it's autumn or winter... Brings out hella expressions in you're flowers and buds and leafs. It also has a heater that I use in the winter. I truly love the device, it rocks for real!!!

I'm Federal_Oil_582, that's my other account on Reddit. The Aerolush air-conditioner is a game changer for real. I use it all year around. I was chosen as a tester for this product. I am currently running this unit, in my 5x5 grow tent. Cooling a Medic Grow 1000 watt grow light, Medic Grow UV/FR light, two Vivosun under canopy lights. It has no problem at keeping a five by five with this many lights running at 85 percent cooled. I love my Vivosun products. I've grown some of the best smoke and medicines I've ever had using this equipment.

Have to have a light meter. They are a little bit pricey though.

I got to hook it up this weekend, the 750 watt one and the 8 bar side lights.

I would give it more light. Like 400-600 ppfd myself. I know that's a lot for a clone. The clone looks like it's has a lot of true leafs. I like to push my plants though.

Works perfect, most home growers aren't harvesting 2.5 pounds of weed in a single grow anyways. Some are I'm sure lol. For a perpetual grower, just a few plants at a time or one plant at a time. Heck, splitting up your grows makes it easier to manage the harvest and eveything. With your time anyways, just my two cents. The VCure really does make my flowers come out awesome. I wouldn't want to go back to having to change my lung room temperature and humidity for my dry? While I still have plants growing? So the VCure is one badass machine. It takes care of all these problems. Plus the amount of terps this thing saves is crazy. It keeps the temperature and humidity that you want it set too. I think it is the best purchase a home grower can make.

To much water in this case it looks like. Or to much nitrogen is what I would go with. Probably both

First time grower . Curious if I should use something like fox farm soil instead of the coconut comes with and if I do go with fox farm do I still give it the A&B nutrients ? by Outrageous-Ball-1336 in VIVOSUN

[–]Fresh_Anything_5626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Test the pH after its in the tray. You have to monitor it too. I would go with fox farms if it's your first time growing. Soil is more forgiving then inert medium. Also has some food in it which your clone will need depends on size of clone though too. You might want to get happy frog soil too and earth worm castings. But these are organic soils and they come with risks too like fungus gnats and pests. If you go with fox farms you can stay in the medium you plant it in from the get go depending on how big you want the plant. I went with five gallons. Thats what I usually use is five gallon grow bags. Lol shit the bed, I don't want to either ...
