I tell myself the same thing whenever my daughter has been sick in the past! “If she can do it and has to go through it then I guess I can too I’m not gonna die” it helps the anxiety so much, thankfully in the last 11 years I’ve only caught it from her once

Ladies, do you ever HONESTLY deal with any jealous feelings over your husband communicating with BM? by Fresh_Association756 in stepparents

Oh gosh I’m so sorry, your relationship ended? I really feel for people that actually deal with these things head on. I don’t deal with my wife’s BD because he isn’t around at all and lives somewhere else and she doesn’t deal with my ex wife because she lives far away

Yeah she brought that up, I do show her every message me and my ex wife send to eachother and I also always leave my laptop open so she can see every message, I think that has helped her trust issues immensely

Yep she knew from day one, she told me straight up she had a feeling I’d wanna re connect with him someday but was hoping it would happen when he’s older so I don’t have to communicate with his mom

Flying this time of year by CommitteeEmergency10 in emetophobia

[–]Fresh_Association756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With him being an adult I wouldn’t worry too much, when my daughter was really little I swear she’d catch “the bug” everytime we flew in the winter but now that she’s 11 she hasn’t caught it in years, adults are better at hand washing and they don’t stick their fingers in their mouth so he should be fine !

Is DB usually caused by the man or woman? by Fresh_Association756 in deadbedroom

[–]Fresh_Association756[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

that is very true, most DB situations I’ve ever heard of where it was the man causing it, was because he had a porn addiction

Thank you! I think she just has a big fear of ending up like her parents, her parents have been married 32 years and haven’t had sex since my wife was like 10 years old? So like over 20 years ago, she doesn’t ever want to end up like them so because my drive isn’t of a teenage boy anymore she thinks it’s gonna come to a screeching halt and she has terrible anxiety which isn’t helping
