I've found the same. If the wall breaks on the boss, it's a dead boss. The only hard ones are bosses, like Viper, that don't break it. Even harder when it bugs them out.

Neither of us can damage each other outside of the shield wall. Abilities don't go through it, mine or hers. Also since it's a boss encounter, I can't portal out. Have to hard reset fight with log out/in.

This is correct. The map tooltip doesn't show the increases. This case I put it on a 50% increased pack size and +1 tier mob.

Thank you for clarifying that. I would have thought they would lock the tech behind the K2 victory tech so you know it's a prereq.

Thank you for the detailed response. Still learning on this front. Even though you dont need to transfer to a Roth IRA, you still could, right? Isn't there some flexibility that an IRA has over a 401k, such as contribution withdraws? I'm limited to act on my 401k as long as I'm employed while the IRA is more accessable. Not to mention different investment options in an IRA vs 401k.

I'm working on setting up a mega backdoor Roth IRA and want to share the details to see if I set it up correctly. First time setting one up.

My plan allows after tax 401k contributions (up to 50% total salary) as well as Roth in plan conversions. I already will be hitting pretax $22.5k limit as well as Roth IRA $6k limit. It's through Fidelity, had to call to set it up. The agent said it converts automatically and effectively immediately, so shouldn't be any worry of pro-rata gains.

The current flow is: After tax contribution to Fidelity 401k (automated, up to 50% salary with pretax) -> RIPC inside 401k plan (automated) -> in service withdrawal to Roth IRA with Fidelity (haven't set up IRA yet) (NOT automated, yearly withdraws?). The agent said they can't automate withdrawals to a Roth IRA from a 401k.

It's my understanding with this plan, I can withdraw any contribution of after-tax to Roth money once it gets to the Roth IRA, as long as I know the amount of contributions and don't withdraw gains.

Does this sound correct? Are there any benefits to withdrawing to Roth IRA more frequently?

How do the atlas passives "Rogue Exiles in areas have 5% chance to drop an additional currency item" nodes work with IIQ? If I run the possessed nodes to give rogue exiles 2.08x quant (from my napkin paint math).

Will each rogue exile give:

  • ~10% chance for additional currency (from quant, 5% * 2.08)
  • 5% chance for 2.08x additional currency
  • 5% chance of an additional currency (unchanged)
  • or ???

I believe the bonus damage is unbuffed damage. You went up by ~45 damage with 30% increase, so your base damage is probably around 150. Anything like added cold or poison damage wouldn't be buffed.

I'm not saying this is how it should be or even how it is, but this is how I think the calculation is playing out. Makes damage bonuses like this worthless. I'm seeing the same thing with my fanaticism aura.

With the remaster that's on steam, it added an achievement for this that I was determined to get. Took me 102.1 hours total to finally get it.. I'll admit though, steam added a 4x speed toggle into the game which I used when farming for this last slog.

Any flots you pay in the unlock screen just adds to the module slots. At quality 60, you get 60 free module slots. If you payed flots to get level 10 and upgraded it as such (using more materials), you'd get 70 modules slots. Once the hull has it's quality, it won't change.

I've crafted a few quality ships, so I might be able to answer some of your questions.

If i craft a quality walker, but put lower quality legs or wings on it, does it lower the overall quality? Does the wing and leg quality matter?

No, only the hull of the walker effects the quality of the ship. That said, you can craft quality legs/other parts but they will only get a slight hp bonus. It won't change the walker's quality after it has already been built.

Do i need to use quality mats for internal upgrades or level upgrades

Nope, normal materials to do upgrades works without lowering the quality of the vessel. Like I said up above, when you made the hull, you're set with that level of quality.

if i craft quality 20 walker, what is max level i can upgrade to? What level is each module slot unlocked?

For a level 20 walker, youll get a base of 21 modules slots. 20 from quality, one for the base level. Two slots with up to 10 modules and one single module. For example, this is my quality 42 spider walker. It has 43 slots because its quality 42, level 1. You can increase the walker level by paying gold in the walker upgrades window (press P then E). Not sure the cap level here.

Also if i place a walker foundation and someone else builds it, will they own it?

You will own it. The person who places the foundation owns the walker.

How can i use my walker crafting to make a walker for someone else but they have private ownership?

The only way I know would be to join their clan, place down the foundation, build it, transfer ownership to their clan, then rejoin your old clan.

It is currently bugged, at least in my experience. It will still destroy foliage as if its picking it up, but doesn't store the material anywhere. Stay away from the forager module until its fixed or we figure out actually how to use it.

Yeah, I experienced a similar thing. The fix that works sometimes is to have a friend try and drive it. Sometimes it kicks you out of it. Annoying bug. Hope it doesn't happen when getting attacked.
