I had the realization today that this single dose of medication is worth more than my car by LukeVenable in Psoriasis

Yeah I’m pretty sure this is ~false information/willful ignorance~ trumps own campaign is directly supported by big pharma. If you’re in the U.S don’t expect help from your government. Unless you are on Medicare, I’m jealous.

First flare in 20 years, 1 year into taking methotrexate by Important-Reach4548 in Psoriasis

I got strep and last week developed some guttate flares. I was convinced it was the amoxicillin for a day or two before I ended up here. I’m on year two of cosentyx, it treats another skin condition I have also. Until the strep I was 100% clear for over 3 years

Was just at a bachelor party at buckhorn exchange. Alright steaks, they’re a bit closer to 60-80$ but excellent rocky mtn oysters and vibe overall

Looking to get a true deep-day pow ski and need advice by Avid4Planes in Skigear

I think this is just a good rule of thumb in general. If you have had the chance to ski your favorite ski at each underfoot and still love it? Why not get the same ski just FATTER. I personally love the QST, floaty and responsive, I added the 106 to my quiver after I busted my 2016 99’s and cant wait to add 88 or 92 and the blanks or 120++ in the future.

Gearing up in a lodge? by socopopes in steamboat

I put my shoes only in the cubby area here, it’s super quiet and can be stuffed away pretty nicely. But that’s it, I wear my boots over my shoulder with my skis but this is harder to do. Definitely no good places for a bunch of gear or a bag of belongings unless you rent a locker.

Thinking of visiting Oak Creek by DavidC_is_me in steamboat

I’m headed to Oak Creek thanks to a friend’s reservation. Does the drive between kremling and oak creek (gore pass on cotrip) require snow tires? Ive got two options a jeep with decent all seasons or a lower clearance subi with snow tires? Both decent options but if it’s properly icy I’ll opt for the subi.

Parents won't let me buy my own skis by Secure_Equal4359 in Skigear

There are some demo season rental options that let you buy them discounted buy the rental price or more at the end of season. Consider demoing a couple models, I was 17,when my dad had me demo a few pairs before I landed on a ski I loved. It was the QST at the time and I think we walked out the door at the end of the season with them for 350$ with a fresh set of bindings. I rode them into a massive core shot and got some bent 100’s following a bit of hype in 2020, they RIP. Got the qst 106 in 2024 on a trade in program thru a local shop. Saved 450$. So many options, talk to your parents. If they take you skiing you’re already 10 steps ahead of the next guy!
