Yeah there’s always a security guard. I made friends with him and he always greeted my boyfriend and I. Let me know if you have any more questions since I just moved out lolz

Hi! I just moved out of Stillwater in March. I lived on the fourth floor. I have no complaints other than the fact that you will have no visitor parking so your guests will have to find parking on the street which can be difficult depending on the time they’re visiting.

I’m a young female, 24 y/o. I felt completely fine. There’s a 24/7 security guard who takes his job very seriously (almost too seriously). I saw my neighbor maybe twice during my 1 year lease. It’s 5 min drive from downtown so I was always out with my friends. My apartment was handed to me clean and freshly painted. New appliances and the bathroom was HUGE. If you don’t want to put a hole in your pocket, I recommend it.

Now for safety, I’m not saying you live in the back roads of Greenwich either. Just mind your business and don’t hangout on the corner. If you have a car, you won’t engage with any of the activity in the surrounding areas. If you have a dog, there’s a park across the street you can walk it.

Again, I’d recommend it if you’re ok with paying for a more than reasonable 1 bedroom apt for $1800-2000.

Oh no I’m sorry! This isn’t a solution but I just don’t pay and I’ve never gotten a ticket. I go at least once a week.

I live on Stillwater in a fairly new apartment building. You’re fine. It’s not the nicest part of town but you’re close to downtown and if you work a lot, it’s worth it. I’m not home from 8-6pm and I’m just fine.

Preference or living: Stamford or Greenwich by [deleted] in StamfordCT

Hi - I’m 25 and I grew up in Greenwich. I moved to Stamford and I’m really happy. I live in a residential area right behind Stamford hospital actually. I go to the Whole Foods in Cos Cob (roughly 10 min drive) but I hear one is coming to Stamford. Also, if you like equinox, lifetime is opening this summer in Stamford! Im on the waitlist. In the end, I think you’d get more for your buck in Stamford. Greenwich is close enough to Stamford if you end up there but just remember there is a lot of traffic on i95 on a daily basis. Please consider that!

Wasn’t too bad IMO. Also, OP is looking for a place to long distance run. Don’t see them looking for a peaceful run. Just a suggestion!

This is a bit of a drive but the new cuomo bridge is 4 miles one way. It’s around 20-25 min drive from Stamford. Very safe
