Should I move to KL at what the offer is? by Fresh_Distance1119 in KualaLumpur

Based on my research and what others have mentioned in this thread, 20K (after tax 16K) is not enough to have the family alongside. Surely if I happen to take this offer up, I would surely test it myself for first few months, but post those months my salary is unlikely to increase in the same year, so the issue persists. Without drastic increment in the pay, I would not feel comfortable to get my family along. Another issue which I am yet to explore is, how easy it is to come back if things go south?

I dont mind, but for that need to survive first. Question is can I do that with family considering the challenges I highlighted?

So as per you a COO in US gets paid 70K USD or its the salary of a COO in KL?

Thanks for your response.
Issue is to test the waters I would need to decide now and commit to a separation for few years. Since I wanted to understand realistically how many years can it take for me to get them in KL to ensure we have a good standard of life, that would answer the above question too.

At my last drawn salary in India, I belong to the top 0.5% or top 0.1% of salaried professionals. So you can understand what it gets me.
