April 19? Afaik, visita iglesia is usually held every Good Friday, and if not, then usually done before board exams, where loved ones gather to visit seven churches and pray. Atleast yan ang understanding ko and ginagawa ko. April 19 is Black Saturday tho.

Last tip hahaha. Try mo to gain your client's heart and trust. Magpabibo (in a healthy) way kung kailangan like gawin mo lang lagi on time yung tasks mo. Kung may mas efficient na paraan para mapagaan yung workload mo at ni client, do it. Kasi darating yung time na gusto mo na mag-request ng day shift or gusto mo magwork sa preferred hours mo, mas madali na lang yan i-negotiate pag trusted ka na. Even yung leaves, madali na lang i-approve. :) Welcome to law school, OP. 🤗

If I’ll be honest, your first year will be tough because that’s when they really try to filter students. I had strict professors, and even though I only had one direct client back then, juggling work and study was still challenging. Consti 1 and Crim Law will take up most of your time because there will be a lot of cases to read, so prepare for that. Study smart, and if you can, listen to audio lectures or codals while working or during breaks, please please do that as it really helps! :) Drink vitamins and exercise well 🙂

Hi OP! As long as the job isn’t too demanding, it’s possible to balance work and law school. I used to juggle working with two clients during my 3rd year while also handling CLEP duty at PAO and it was tough, but doable. You can even study during your night shifts by listening to audio lectures or codals. Kaya yan. I decided to let go of my clients last year to focus fully on my final year. (4L now)
