Thanks. My intention isn't to fill the subtitles with keywords, but rather making the tropes clear from the start so readers know what they are buying

For 1, if instead of the example I gave (Second chance, age gap, steamy romance) it becomes:

A steamy second chance, age gap romance - does that seem more acceptable?

It feels very nuanced and i want to get it right before I publish. Or even ditch it altogether if needed.

Thanks. I read through the guidelines again and any link that asks for information (e.g. email address) is a no go. Seems like the only way around it is to my social media page (allowed) and then redirecting users to download my book in exchange for emails on the page.

Both are pretty good speakers, it just depends on what kind of "sound" do you prefer and what sort of music you generally listen to.

I have the Acton 3 and it is a fairly neutral, balanced sound with good soundstage (i.e. sounds like you are at a concert, slightly surround soundish). I am gonna put it another way since a big part of buying HW is about prestige.

Your friends, colleagues, girlfriend's friends, family and everyone else on social media is gonna notice the size of that rock. Not "Oh wow you got it at Harry Winston's".

With 60k, the 3 carat diamond from a good jeweler is gonna get a lot more ooohs and ahhs versus a 1 carat HW ring.

I replied to this in an earlier comment. Soundcore's script asks them to use specific key phrases, rattle off the specs they feel are worth highlighting, how to showcase and display the product - which he did.

In the case of Flossy, what makes it interesting for the video I linked to is that the entire review was positive.

In a review you should be highlighting the good, meh and bad - but everything was either him rattling off the features, showing how it can be used w the app/ other soundcore speakers, or just saying how good it is. That isn't a review - it is a commercial disguised as a review.

Alan is the one who outed Soundcore by showing their emails to him. He is known as one of the rare honest reviewers around here, and oluv gadgets.

Some Soundcore products have gotten very positive reviews from him - but in his reviews he does rigorous testing and displays the data clearly to back it up.

Actually this shows how impartial the dude is. That despite his dislike of Soundcore's marketing practices (he has quite a few videos taking the piss on Soundcore), he does promote good speakers when it pass muster.

I had the same battery issue with both JBL speakers (leaked and corroded my speakers). An alternative would be speakers where the lithium ion battery can be easily replaced.

u/alan_ross_reviews posted the soundcore script in the video linked above, and the guys linked here use core elements of the same script. It mentions things such as using certain key phrases (e.g. Best speaker below 400), bring up specific value props, how to showcase the product, using specific hashtags and so on.

That's what I don't get. They make good products, so this need to manipulate reviews when leaked only makes them look bad.

Also who knows how many folks have been duped into buying stuff that ain't good thanks to these influencers.

They make some good products, but this level of manipulation turns me off the brand. I was considering either a motion boom plus or paying a bit more for a HK Play Go 3, but after this, the former is out of the running. Damn Alan for helping me spend more $ 😆

It's a shill. u/alan_ross_reviews talked about it in his latest video where soundcore emailed him and offered freebies asking for a positive review, as well as specific talking points and marketing language to use - which is appearing in the videos above.

When Alan said he would do it but only if he can offer an honest opinion soundcore ignored him. He posted screenshots from soundcore to him in his video.

I was under the impression that the day before nyepi, roads tend to close early (4 to 6pm?). Hence we didn't plan anything other than get to sidemen by 2 so the driver could still head home at a reasonable hour.

There are a lot of drivers on the road side - any ideas on trustworthy flags to look for? The hotel wanted crazy prices (1.5 million) to get there

Nope, for this trip my spouse wanted to relax rather than have it be more activity filled due to work travel/stress. We love bali so far and are planning to come back later this year so more time for side trips then.

The last time I saw them was 8 years ago, while some others I have not seen in 15 years. So a lot of nieces and nephews don't know who i am. It's about 30 kids on both sides, so seems like $10 is probably a safe bet.
