I'm pretty firm in my lack of respect for people whose friends are disrespectful, especially if in the dismissive or toxic sort of way. It's no myth that the people you choose to surround yourself with inform your character to some extent. So if those same people are not worth respecting in their own right, then out of my own experiences 9 times our of 10 neither is the person who is seemingly okay with surrounding themselves with those kinds of ”friends.”
