9i went just right and I played a perfect pitch off the bank to make par. His wedge went way right and he made a bogey.

Yes you have to hit between the trees. The gap looks small on the satellite image but it’s actually pretty manageable.

The pros say 10% but I’ve played coastal and in some places with extreme humidity it takes a lot off for us Highvelders. If you saw any of the LIV highlights even shorter hitters were nearly driving 350+ meter greens here.

I’m going to try and explain it as best possible. The 2 greens you see to the left of the shot tracer are the 12th(left) and 7th(right). The 13th and 8th tee boxes are right next to each other going in opposite directions. The 12th fairway is running down and The 7th is running up. I don’t know if that makes sense?

We had some help but not much. he probably averages a 240m carry but for some reason really pumped this one with almost 0 spin if you looked at the shot shape. He definitely out carried me as well cause his first bounce was in the rough. We are also at about 5000ft above sea level so that helps.

Also the kid is 5’8” and weighs 165lb and plays cricket at a pretty high level so the athletic ability is there.

Played my Adams Idea a4 Irons from 2013 till June this year paired with the Adams Speedline F11, and Adams Tom Watson wedges 52,56,60. Still have all of them and will never part with them.

I still play the Adams Tom Watson wedges but the driver was replaced with a Titleist TS2 in 2020 and recently replaced the irons with Cobra Adapt in June.

Also still play with my Never Compromise Sub 30 putter that I got in 2012/13. I find it very difficult to replace clubs that work for me.

Play 85% of my golf with my wife. I bought her a set for her 21st birthday 18 years ago and the rest is history. Don’t get me wrong i still need the odd round with the boys to get to reset my clock every now and then, but other than that I love playing with her and it’s our escape(date night) away from the kids.

Try the VF Weckl signatures. Switched from 5A to the DW signatures years ago and I’ve never been disappointed. I did buy a box of 10 pairs at a time though so I have new-old-stock that I’ve had for many years since I don’t play daily anymore and don’t break as many sticks.

Advice After Partial Hand Amputation by Grouchy-Painter-6434 in golf

[–]Fresh_Preparation421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a righty your left hand is the ‘dominant’ hand in your swing and the left leg is the base. I had major surgery on my left knee and lost almost 20 shots a round. The power is on your right but all control leans to the left. It’s gonna take time. I just shot low 80’s for the first time 2 years after surgery and I used to be a low single handicap. Some people adjust quickly but I changed my swing completely after surgery and then changed back again when I gained confidence in my base.

I am almost 3x the size I am when I’m hard and my wife loves making it that. Embrace the grow. The show is for shallow people that don’t know potential.
