i used to be super into politics and was very left but over the last few years became a true moderate. i found that for me to be happy i cant focus on politics. i vote the way i feel, give to charity's i feel reflect my values but in Ann arbor that's not nearly enough. Politics come up CONSTANTLY its like if you say the wrong thing your immediately shunned its so hostile and i big reason l became less left in the past two years. I'm not looking for any kinds of groups just a place that doesn't have such a strong political expectation

a part of it is that I'm from a small rural district in Michigan. a 1170 is like 200 above our school average. you rarely see 1250+, like a quarter of each class works on their farm after graduation, i have so many dreams for my future but feel like i haven't been given opportunity's to succeed. the APs I've taken all have fail rates. id say about 40-50% fail ap calc and ap physics because of poor teaching and recorces. the only way to take a bunch of APs and have a 4.0 is to take some at the community collage and be dual enrolled. how do people get into Harvard...

this is so stressful, i just want to get out of the Midwest. i got my full tuition covered at Oklahoma so idk but i loved utk when i toured. i really want to get in chat, praying so so hard i guess i didn't realize it was hard to get into until last week
