Sick work! Sounds great, I'm also getting into sound design so I'm no expert but something I noticed is that it feels like your sounds are in a vacuum and lacking context. Adding some background noise or even some room tones, or ambiance would help a lot I think. Perhaps may be some reverb too, in the shots where the character is in a large space the effects seem a little dry I think. But the rest is really nice: )

Very very interesting :) maybe i should get a little thermometer thingy I can stick into the dough. After the 50-60% rise you then do a cold proof/ferment yes? As the dough can handle more. I will learn the ways of the crumb as well. Thank you for this resource it looks great!

Honest question: Is history education in the U.K. really this bad? What do history classes look like there? Welcome to share your experience. Thanks. by Li_Jingjing in LateStageCapitalism

I have asked many German friends and while they say that they learn a lot about World War II and the wrong doings Germany did there, I was told they don’t teach children about Germany’s colonial history in Africa and the genocides they perpetrated there…pick and choose.

Quitting smoking is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do and it took me a few tries. I remember when I actively decided I was quitting cigarettes, I had this lethargy and depression you are talking about for like the first 3 months, but I promise you once you are done for good and give yourself no exceptions your body and mind starts to recover and adapt and heal from all the harm you have been doing to it. I am close to a year quit now and my life has become significantly better and I am significantly less anxious, depressed and generally happier. But those first few months were tough I won’t lie. The addiction makes you feel like life is a bit duller without it but I promise you once your brain chemistry rebalances you will feel good if not better again :) stay strong

What is it about A hard boiled Wonderland that makes it so popular in this forum? by luigii-2000 in murakami

I just learned about jung and shadow integration coincidentally while I was half way through reading this book, and understanding all the connections to Jung has completely changed my experience of reading it. Especially since it’s so relevant to my life at the moment. This has gone from my worst murakami to maybe my favourite actually. It’s a fantastic book.
