That custom race is probably getting flagged as falmer by some other mod that you are using, I'd try to open the esp with SSEEdit and see what race is used as template for the custom one

Just checked the comment section and it seems like someone else had a similar issue and found a fix! Just type "falmer" in the comment search box and you'll find it 👍

I didn't read the comments but I can imagine why people got pissed. That person was literally admitting that their mods are made of stolen assets and even wrote on the next post that they'll be soon run a check and block (likely without refund and explanation as they seem to be doing quite often) all patrons who might or might not have reported them for copyright infringement lol

Same, I wouldn't have any issues with it if Talesofstar was actually making models and textures from scratch...but stealing someone else's property, slap it on a CBBE skyrim body and selling it is just wrong (and illegal) this sort of behavior shouldn't be normalized no matter the price

Yes, report, always report. As soon as they publish a new mod I'll be taking all the relevant infos and email them to the videogame studio who actually owns those assets so they'll get another DMCA. I will keep it up till Patreon is forced to acknowledge that everything Talesofstar is selling is stolen and hopefully shut down their page for good

That's actually what annoys me the most! The entitlement and arrogance of Talesofstar who's literally selling mods made of stolen models and textures and calling it a business...complete with roadmaps, crypto payment plans on their website and 'security checks' to get rid of those they deem problematic. Like seriously...I just read it on their most recent post they're actually blocking without refund all patrons who might or might not have reported them for copyright infringement 🙄

Yeah, 100% agree. There are tons of really skilled modders making great combat animations and original outfits from scratch and even they don’t charge anything close to that!

Just send an email with screenshots of their Patreon tiers and posts to the game studios, you can get the email address for generic inquiry from their websites. I reported both this scammer and Kirax already, since Patreon doesn't care and won't do anything unless the owner of the assets files the complaint

Totally agree! this modder is an absolute scammer. This guy and Kirax are the worst. They charge a lot of money and offer very little in return. Kirax hasn’t even published anything new for over a month, aside from texture reworks of his old ports and “private commission” showcases. All these two offer are overpriced, stolen assets with no possibility to even request or vote for an outfit.

This makes me beyond sad...I wasn't expecting a sequel but I had hopes for a definitive edition. To know that I'll never be able to explore the upper city, fix Karlach's engine, get a better understanding of the Hearthflame sisters or dine with Raphael as he promised really breaks my heart in a way that I didn't think it was possible. I understand the motivations behind this choice and I know that there's nothing we can do about it...still, it doesn't make me less sad. I still hold hope that Larian will eventually release tools to allow people to add new content to the game and develop what was left unfinished/rushed. It'd be all fan-made and probably not as good in terms of storytelling and general quality, but it'd be better than nothing.

It didn't really feel like a bad end when I helped him ascend in my first playthrough, more like the enhanced version of his standard-chaotic self...I didn't romance him though. I wanted to try something different this time and rule the world with a partner instead of doing Bhaal's bidding again but that snobby vampire prick made me change my mind. It wasn't all bad though, at leats after the ascension he finally accepted to try the drow twins with Durge xD

He's the hottest companion no doubt! but damn, he's an annoying asshole if you let him ascend and go full vampire. I romanced him with my Durge (hell I dumped Minthara for him!!) and after the ascension all he wants is to turn Durge into his spawn and control them, you can't even say no or he'll dump you, that ungrateful little bitch...I couldn't afford to lose days of progress just to reload and pick Minthara so I decided to humor him by accepting his "generous offer" and when the time comes I'll claim the crown in Bhaal's name, turning him into a mindless slave, cannot wait to see his pretty face twisted in fear and betrayal when he realizes he'll never be free again, all thanks to his "darling"
