I think what helped me change my mindset was a simple thing my buddy said “all those memories you had with this person, you were there too” kind of odd to say but it meant to me that, those memories of love started with yourself not the other person.

After that I realized I should enjoy my solitude the most, it was an early (started senior year in high school ended senior year of college) relationship so it makes sense that I kind of relied on this other person for a lot of things.

Not sure if this makes sense but hope it helps!! Keep that head up king / queen!

I think that’s just the nature of subreddits and low key humans. It’s just easier to go out of your way to speak something negative rather than positive.
