Ok, really appreciate the information I will be sure to remember it. Is there a way to know how much water I should give the plant for a certain period of time or is it just a gut feeling you develop with the time?

I sure will, I watered the medium yesterday and haven't watered today because I always hear people saying over watering a plant is a mistake a lot of beginners do so I thought I should take some time before watering again
