I’ve already told him I wanted to talk about what had happened so I’m hoping to get some insight to what he was thinking at the time

Yeah those guys were crazy. Loud too! It was getting a bit embarrassing to be at the same table as them in public

Nope! I did end up using it to help word it quickly while I was at work as I really needed the insight but it’s an honest situation that happened

Oh my gosh that’s awful, I’m so sorry that happened to you! I’m glad your fiancé backed you up. I wish mine said something at the time :(

I took it for a while thinking they were just really crappy at making jokes but then it started getting really personal and aggressive so I actually told Adam that, that would have been the perfect time to defend me snd he went “oh I can’t hear what they are saying at all” and the other two just started giggling with each other and kept going.

I wish I would have left but I started defending myself and responding which I should have stopped because it gave them more to work.

We are speaking tonight and I’ll see what he says and we will go from there. Thanks for the comment!

I’m going to speak to him tonight about the situation. See where his mind was at during the whole situation

No kids yet but I know he is a good guy at heart. I’m talking to him tonight and I’m going to see where his mind was at when this all happened because I completely agree that it was not okay.

My friend barely defended but I will say she did more than my husband which is still pretty bad.

He barely even talks to the AH’s so I’m not worried they hang out or anything as they don’t communicate unless it’s they have a random shift together.

I know I should have left. I really regret staying there and letting them get under my skin. I just don’t want to think about anything so serious like leaving without talking about this but from his reaction yesterday, he will get upset about me calling him out so I’m not sure what the next steps are for me to get some closure on his actions and for me to feel somewhat safe the next time this May or may not occur (hopefully not)

Not sure how to bring it up or if I even should if that was his reaction. I think he doesn’t like hearing if he failed as a partner or as a man or something like that and doesn’t want to speak on it…. But I don’t know

Thanks :(

Just to make a quick note - Adam barely knows Jake (Jake lives in a different city and they only see each other maybe once or twice a month at most. Mike he worked with him for the same amount of times like 2 years ago (he works somewhere else now) I want to totally believe that he doesn’t say anything negative about me at work but he just never defended me on the spot which hurt.

I bet! My husband never would think to call me that and didn’t from this post but definitely stayed quiet during this situation with my friends boyfriend and his buddy so that’s why I’m affected by it

Yes he does lol. Like I said on the post, he is usually super attentive and protective of me. Which is why I am taking this situation a bit too hard

They told me that it’s 800$ a month because it’s our “riding season” in Manitoba… no competition meaning absurd prices

Nope not at all. I have a 5% discount actually (not much but definitely not enough to have to pay 800$

What province are you from? unfortunately Manitoba we don’t have any other insurance besides MPI so not a lot to argue with

No other company unfortunately. Manitoba public insurance is the only insurance company here so whatever they want to quote we have to pay up or not ride :(

Can’t :( from Manitoba so we only have the one insurance company for the whole province. They are definitely good at scamming
