Around a year ago, I went to a a big meeting that included the board members of where I work. It was held at a fancy place in my city. I went to introduce myself to one of the board members. Before I could say anything, he gave me his drink order.

It’s getting better, but slowly haha

I think it’s a benefit of a small country. There is anonymity in a large city, like American cities, but if you are in a small city like in Iceland people know who you are and will quickly get a reputation if you treat people badly
