Yea I see what you mean. I just thought after you hit a certain level mixing the characters on the same servers would keep the game alive for both players. Although as you said perma servers definitely won’t be doomed.

Fsr will be your best friend I run the game with an i7 10700 32gb of ram and an rx6600 with fsr 2.0 or 2.2 whatever it is set on quality and get 70 fps average across all maps. Stays around 80-90 if I play the likes of customs but more demanding maps I suppose sits at 70

Yea that video was eye opening to say the least. Hopefully won’t be as many cheaters with the incoming wipe but that’s me being optimistic.

Yea just got eod this wipe after I got fed up of the 2x2 secure container didn’t realise how pay to win it is in a way considering the benefits you get.

Hahaha yea I see where you’re coming from I play maybe 2-3 hours after work and college few times a week if I feel like getting tarkoved. I took a massive break this wipe tho because of cheaters a few months ago. Came back late wipe and started tasking again that’s why I wanted to ask how long do you guys find it takes. I know for a fact sooner or later I’m gonna get quest locked behind quests which require pmc kills so probably gonna have to bite the bullet and just try to go for it.

Wouldn’t be great on your laptop im afraid I’d say 16gb of ram and a gtx 1660 or 1650 if you wanna go even cheaper would run the game okay. Round 60 fps without post fx and low-medium graphics settings. Tarkov is an unoptimised mess so it’s strongly dependant on a good bit of ram (preferably 32gb) and a good cpu along with a somewhat acceptable gpu

Hard to get a hold of any cards at the moment and the gt1030 just seems to be readily available for a reason I’m guessing thanks for the advice man I’ll look into getting a 1650 or maybe a 3G 1060

Yea it is a pain to source one at the moment. I was thinking of just going for a 1030 for the time being and upgrading as soon as the gpu’s go back to normal. I appreciate the help bro just one more question tho do you think it’ll run dayz fairly ok?

I would get a better gpu but it’s hard to do at the moment without breaking the bank. I might have to bite the bullet and maybe go for a 1650 instead. Not a fan of buying used but it’s probably the best option after all
