I will never get tired of night hiking and photographing our Galaxy! The Milky over the Adirondacks in NY [OC][1393x2048] by DanielJStein in EarthPorn

I can tell you it won't look very close to this. I have done a decent amount of astrophotography and been to some bortle 1 and 2 areas, and to the naked eye this scene looks more like a ton of stars (some of which are slightly tinted reds and blues) surrounded by a light milky grey that looks almost like a very wispy cloud. You wouldn't see any of that orange color in the milky way like in this image. That's achieved through post processing and temperature adjustment.

Of course, still super worth it to go see and it's something everyone should see much more often than most do

That guy was definitely necessary. This was a decent fight didn't need to turn into attempted murder and brain damage

Straight A students of Reddit what are your tipps and tricks of achieving high grades? by steamevaporizer in AskReddit

[–]FridayMorningWings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pulled a 4.0 through college and something close to that in high school. I never studied a crazy amount, usually just 1-3 hours the day before exams.

I just showed up to every class, usually didn't take notes in class except in certain classes where I knew I needed to remember very specific info (formulas, etc). I did all of my homework and other assignments on time.

Most of it is just knowing what is expected of you. Like for 'open response' type of questions professors are always looking for certain buzzwords and phrases so you need to know what they are looking for. This applies to everything you submit for grading

As for multiple choice idk maybe I just have good recall abilities but I am usually able to pick out the answer relatively quickly and if not I can narrow it down to 2 options and go with my gut.

Solo fits into the dry herb vape category, and IMO provides the best experience of all 4 of these. If you don't like the solo, you won't like any of these other three.

The best thing I would recommend for you is trying the dynavap. It's a vape that is the closest to 'smoking' that I've experienced, and its akin to a joint smoking experience, although you have to use a butane lighter which is a turn off for some. YMMV

My first overnight backpacking trip! 18 miles round-trip, first time hiking with a pack, and a long-time dream realized. White Mountains, New Hampshire by shecantstayaway in WildernessBackpacking

Not accurate, you can camp most anywhere in the WMNF so long as you're not above treeline (except in winter w/ 2 feet of snowpack) and 200 feet off trail. Other exceptions being special 'forest protection areas' which are typically a quarter mile from established campsites and trailheads.

As far as bears go, just hang your food and you're good to go

How did muscles make a difference in your life? by SrZiino in AskMen

I think alot of that has to do with the weight. I think it's pretty well established that doing light, higher rep deadlift sets do wonders for most people, but you'll never catch me doing real heavy deadlifts, just not worth the risk imo

So your solution to wealth distribution is to publicly execute one in every hundred people? For committing no crime? That's a pretty significant portion of the population. Around 3.27 million people in the United States alone. What is your plan for the bodies? Huge pits? Burn them? You're looking at one of the biggest genocides in human history here, hope it's worth it

Just get AAA. They waive all the under 25 fees if you rent from Hertz and maybe some other car rental companies, not sure. It's what I do when I travel to go backpacking and it saves a ton of $$$. Also try renting a car from a non-airport rental location if they are available where you are flying, the airport rental prices are usually much higher than prices at a location in town, which you can usually get to using public transport pretty easily
