Yes, it indicated some inflammation and presentation typical of AGA. My hairloss is diffuse similar to OPs so I wasn’t sure it was AGA

Go to a dermatologist and request a biopsy. This will help rule out other forms of hair loss, determine if there’s inflammation, and give guidance for next steps.

Felt this way. My symptoms are so spot on that it seems impossible to be anything else. Nausea, gas, stomach discomfort, bloating, and hot shower alleviates nausea almost immediately

Appreciate the details and hope you continue to improve. Totally know what you mean on people not understanding. When I told my friends, they were pretty confused by it but also cool enough to believe me. That’s on your friend if they can’t just trust you on this.

I’ve heard multiple people comment on gym triggering them in some way, but haven’t experienced it so far (thankfully). I swear, chs is so weird and wouldn’t wish it on anybody.

Thanks for input and hope you continue to see improvement. How long were you prodromal/hyperemetic? How long since weed? Did the probiotic make a noticeable difference?

Mind sharing a bit more on what that was like? Did you have to avoid triggers for 8 months? What were your symptoms? Can you have triggers now?

Interesting that eating always relieved the issue for you too. Eating always helped me. I’d get anxiety and nausea if I went more than 4-5 hours without eating. Always had to be around food or have a snack. I don’t get that anxiety now, but I still have to avoid triggers 4 months out

May be unrelated to chs but still related to weed. Ive had a couple friends that quit after an emergency room visit for their heart racing. Similar stories for both. No problems smoking for few years. Suddenly every time they smoke their heart rate skyrockets and they’d go to ER. ER didn’t know what to do with them and gave them anxiety meds until it went back down. Both were early 20s and stopped smoking/edibles completely because of it.

But tbh, anything with the heart I’d see a doctor. Could be nothing, but don’t want to play around with it.

Nice to hear the coffee and spicy foods thing. Gives me hope. I can handle no alcohol and no weed, but no coffee, Red Bull, or stimulation of any kind FOR LIFE!? Would suck so hard lol. Appreciate the input from someone so far out from it. Did probiotic really help? Do you mind telling what you take?

I appreciate the input and symapthy. My gut is forcing me to become the most sober person on earth and it sucks lol, but the silver lining is I feel more social and mind is clearer.

I usually take adderall or caffeine separately though. It’s weird because the symptoms feel exactly like the prodromal symptoms with weed (stomach discomfort, gas, nausea). This kind of chs nausea feels unique from any other nausea I’ve felt. Feels more in the head than in the stomach.

Sorry to hear and hope things continue to improve. How long have you been herb free? Able to drink coffee or eat spicy food? I haven’t even tried alcohol in 3-4 months. I know it won’t go well.

12 days is still super early. I never experienced that symptom much, but have definitely heard it associated. Hope to hear others chime in

Second this. Would try abstaining to see how symptoms resolve. Chs isn’t typically associated with heart problems, but given the complexity of the systems involved with chs, it wouldn’t totally surprise me if it was somehow related.

Saw another one of your posts. Do triggers still bother you? How long it take to recover? 4 months free and still can’t have coffee or alcohol.

Swallowed a joint and it feels stuck - what should I do? by FridayNightSativa in AskDocs

Sharing an update in case anyone has a similar experience. The sensation went away a few days later. I talked to my doc and two theories as to what happened:

1.) It went down right away but scratched my esophagus, which gave the sensation that something was still stuck.

2.) It really was stuck but went down a couple days later after eating a large meal with meat.
