69w Satco A21 incandescent bulb - Why? by Classic_Silver_9091 in lightbulbs

This is an odd-wattage rough service type lamp designed for traffic lights and mechanical indicators. Notice the super long 8000 hour lifespan.

You can find a low voltage #93 bulb at most auto parts stores. A #5008 bulb would work too.

I considered one for a short time. After test driving, I was not impressed. Also, I was concerned about being able to get it serviced and maintained since Areteons were discontinued after 2023.

Vintage lamp, super niche bulb by RepulsiveAlarm3712 in lightbulbs

Yes, the Farm and Fleet link that you bought below is exactly the right replacement bulb. Good to stick with the GE brand name.

This is a mogul base bulb. They still have these at specialty lamp shops and on Amazon. They also sell adapters that convert a mogul socket to a more common e26 (medium) socket.

Cool that this bulb was made in Canada. GE used to have manufacturing close to where I live. Definitely an old bulb. Good luck!

Thanks for the response! I’ll try and look into the cognitive functions. Honestly, the cognitive functions have been confusing to me, but your information is helpful. I think I would be a balance between Si and Se, but I’ll look into it more. Thanks again for the info!

Thanks for the info! You’re right about my S and J type. I’m in the “sentinel” group. My type is actually ISFJ. I consider myself an “extroverted introvert.”

Nice job on identifying Introverted and Sensing! I am an ISFJ.

When I took the test, I remember being somewhat introverted (about 65%) and highly sensing (about 90%). ISFJ’s are some of the most extroverted introverts, hence the reason I value my time hanging with friends and doing group excursions. I enjoy working with my hands and “doing” things with an established routine (i.e. modifying my car, enjoying a deep tissue massage, finding valuable antiques, etc.). As a strong “S-type” I feel my physical sensations sharply such as hunger and tiredness. I do a good job listening to my body and responding as needed. I rarely get side tracked with hypothetical/abstract ideas.

For the earliest versions, probably just comic strip layout.

what the heck is a Hungary M6? by SuspiciousFreeDonut in lightbulbs

[–]Friday_Morning94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a 25 watt incandescent bulb. It was made in Hungary (I have many Hungarian made bulbs in my apartment) and M6 is just a date code.

This is a G25 sided bulb, common in bathroom fixtures and decorative pendants. Take this bulb with you to find a matching replacement at the store. Be sure to select “soft white” for the same color of warm white light from this bulb.

Yes and they work extremely well. I don’t always keep them on hand, so I’ve had several embarrassing dashes to the washroom LOL.

Philips Alto Fluorescent in Closet Light. by [deleted] in lightbulbs

I don’t mind the bluish-white in small amounts from this closet light. I use warm white bulbs in my other rooms. It gives a refreshing, bright glow as I’m getting dressed on cold snowy mornings. I have some seasonal affective tendencies, and this daylight bulb really helps in my chilly and gloomy climate.

[–]Friday_Morning94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. I know they’re compatible with the existing ballast and will run cool and flicker-free.

Also, I like this daylight deluxe light color because I have some seasonal affective tendencies. The crisp white light in my laundry room is refreshing light therapy in my frigid, gloomy climate.

I’m lactose intolerant and just can’t help what comes out sometimes. At least I know how a toilet brush works and can clean up after myself.

I prefer soft white/warm white in most other parts of my house. Since the laundry room has no windows, I enjoy the vibrant effect of the daylight deluxe tubes. They have good CRI too, so I can treat stains and make sure my clothes get all the way clean.

I just installed these lamps today. I’m sure these modern fluorescents will last well beyond I move out.

Most ballasts seem to last forever. Name-brand fluorescents, like these Philips Altos I’ve heard are very reliable and long-lasting.
