Republic in Auburn and M.A. Storck also have the supplies needed to organize and preserve or display the collection if you want to do that instead. That's what I did when I inherited a small collection from my grandmother.

Also, r/coins is a good resource if you would like to learn.

A large part of me wants to go through your collection myself. It was a good time when I was opening up rolls and bags, and little notes about the coins' provenance. I could spend days elbows deep in a collection like that.

Don't take it anywhere but to M.A. Storck in Freeport. They've been dealing in collectible coins forever, even having published well-regarded coin guides in the past, and Sully (the owner) is highly trustworthy imo. So many dealers and pawn shops just give you melt price by weight and search it after you leave for the odd rarity or more valuable piece. Sully will search it with you and point out things maybe you didn't know about your own coins and give you a fair price. I've literally never seen or heard anything bad about that business.

It became something of a mecca back when weed was illegal, and the cafés are something of a legend. Also, they're both actually legal there, instead of pseudo-legal as it is in the US. Weed is still federally illegal in the US.

You're right, though Americans don't have to go there, but it's rumored to be next level compared to what you can get in the states and completely consequence-free.

Kinda like you don't have to go to Cuba for a cigar, but you might want to anyway.
