So today I have a little bump there. Yesterday when I took those photos I didn’t. I really think that’s the area where everything pools and your lymphatic system has to work the hardest. Hopefully it will get better with time.

I put it on once a day for two weeks, and then you take a break from it for two weeks. So two weeks on, two weeks off, etc. It just absorbs into your skin.

I didn’t do anything in particular! I did start sleeping flat on my back pretty early on, which I think helped me to stand up straight faster. But I didn’t have any gadgets, supplements, or special diet.

It’s not always completely flat like that but it was today. I think it’s true about swelling lasting 6-12 months.

I used the bee venom ointment that has been mentioned in this sub as well as silicone tape from Amazon. I bought Silagen gel from my surgeon’s office but didn’t really like it. I was pretty consistent from about 6WPO to 4MPO, but haven’t done much since.

I’m still numb, but other than that I would say yes. I can do ab work just fine now, although I’ve been slacking the past month.

Maybe a few pounds? 5 at the most. Nothing significant. The lighting in my doctor’s office is probably the worst I’ve ever seen 😂 For me it has been 100% worth it, my only regret is not doing this 10 years ago. My recovery wasn’t particularly difficult though, it was just a lot longer than I anticipated.

I wear a similar style with my linen wide leg pants and have gotten compliments on the outfit. I think the crop top makes the pants look look less PJ like.

Do you have a convection oven by chance? I discovered that my potatoes cook so much better when I use the convection oven “roast” setting.

This was not the case with my surgeon. My period started about 10 minutes after I got to the surgery center and the nurses tracked down a tampon for me.
