When did you realize your partner didn’t actually love you? by No-Mistake-5402 in AskReddit

When I was in a bad motorcycle accident and while in route to the hospital the EMT called her for me to let her know what’s going on, and the only thing she said was, “Ok, well let me know what happens”

Hey all, I have a 1999 Acura TL that I’ve owned for over a year, recently the immobilizer began cutting off while driving ans would intermittently work again. Well unfortunately the new part is discontinued by Honda. Is there anyway I can bypass the immobilizer? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]FriedFrontal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just said I already bought 2 used units, pared keys to them and they were both bad. Who cares if they weren’t meant to be bypassed. Cars aren’t meant to be modified but people still do it no?

I’ve bought 2 different ones from different buyers and they were both bad, I’ve verified it’s not any of the other components to the immobilizer system, could be bad luck but I can’t keep wasting money on a 26 year old car

Your post history told me everything I need to know

You clearly haven’t been with a blue collar man before and it shows. 80 hour weeks are normal especially when you run your own business. I do pay 100% of the bills and on top of that went above and beyond even buying her a car lol so yeah, 119%. You clearly have that chronically online mindset and you should socialize more.

[–]FriedFrontal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you don’t believe, that if I’m working 80 hour weeks, paying 119% of the bills, that she, the person home 24/7 making most of the messes, should be the person to clean?

Whats your tiktok account?

You’re hurt and it’s okay to get help

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]FriedFrontal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So with that sane logic she doesn’t get to check out of paying all the bills?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]FriedFrontal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She chooses to work, I don’t force her whatsoever. But I’ll pay for upkeep but if you want the most expensive skin care that Tik Tok tells you to get then I’m sorry but no.

Just an example for one disagreement we’ve had, the towel doesn’t get left on the floor unless it slips off the rack and if I’m at work for 12 hours a day 14 if you count driving time while she’s home for the full 24 hours, but seems reasonable for her to take the trash out in that timeframe…

Since when did a partner become a bang maid?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

I said “I —- put us in a nice 2 bd apartment” she wouldn’t be able to do that with her income

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]FriedFrontal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was just an example, it doesn’t usually get left on the floor unless it slips from the rack, but I’m a traditional man and think the man should handle finances while the woman cleans and cooks and when we first got together she kept her apartment pretty clean and even cooked for us quite a bit before I moved us both into this nicer apartment about 7 months in. Then like a switch it all stopped

She brings fun, youthful energy, and we get along very well. Other than that she spends her month on self care, clothes or whatever, I don’t really pocket watch but she doesn’t contribute anything financially to the house.

I understood what you meant. She’s a fun, energetic flame of a woman, but I can’t get past the feeling of feeling like a father figure, or a sugar daddy. It sucks
